“Nice bar to go to, good people go in there. Lately I've been noticing the bartenders don't want to do their job, want to hang out with their friends and not cater to customers. Very unfriendly, act like you're a problem if you aren't a everyday customer/friend. I hate having to wave down a bartender to get my drink, this isn't your clubhouse...it's your job! smh!“

“I’ve been coming here since I was 8yrs old and they used to have smoking sections in the dining areas. I love this diner. I’m the type of person that will try anything once but when I like something I will make it a usual. So the melting pot was a must get hangover meal after the horseshoe casino when this place was open 24hrs. They changed so much since Covid happened and that’s so unfortunate! I moved away and I still come back just for the hot fingers with extra ranch but they close after 9pm and you can’t dine in after 5pm, that’s so ridiculous now. I just know those hot fingers are carrying the whole joint on its back at this point! Since I can’t catch them during their new dine in hours I’ll have to read the reviews for whatever else is good.“

“It was my first time there and it was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender, although very busy, still took good care of us. The food was good, the ambiance was awesome. The live music was the icing on the cake. I'm definitely going back again.“

“Mishkenut is our go-to when we want all the goodness of a slow-cooked, savory, healthy meal with the convenience of carry-out. The falafel is perfectly crispy, the hummus silky smooth (you can ask for it extra spicy!), pita warm and fluffy, shawarma seasoned to perfection, and Fatoosh salad with house dressing is light and tasty to balance everything. Plan ahead and call in your order with at least an hour of lead time. Dining in? Call ahead and don't sleep on the delicious hot tea with pine nuts to sip while you wait.“

“We loved our food, my son got the honey sliders and mom got the Louisiana bugger and I got the black bugger. The fries were plenty, my daughter loved my bugger and we had to come back. Mom got the rice and beans, son got the half chicken and I went for the catfish...then ofcourse my daughter ordered the black bugger. We'll definitely be back when in town again, the ratio for the rice and beans was little though. We got some fries to go. Overall, we loved the food!“

“OMG!!! This place is the bomb, the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, the customer service is phenomenal and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious soul food. I love the dressing, baked chicken, sweet potatoes and muffins. The portions are good, I had enough left over to take some home for a late night snack. Our hostess Ms. Lyn has outstanding service she made sure that my glass was full at all times and that I had everything that I needed. Her smile can light up a room, keep doing a great job and we will see you again very soon. If you have not been here RUUUUUUN‼️“

“Our first visit to 14 Parish certainly won’t be our last! It’s the best meal we’ve had in Chicago in a while. The cocktails were creative and delicious and the wings and jerk salmon were perfectly cooked. Great service and ambience as well.“

“Family friendly restaurant. I had the half chicken dressing, greens. Chicken was not hot, and it was in a warmer, greens was okay, dressing was good, and everybody knows, cranberry sauce goes with dressing, the cup, was so small (1/2 teaspoon) extra one is quarter (they don't tell you when ask for it). pet peeve with restaurants stingy with condiments, food not being hot.Try it for yourself.“

“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!“

“Looking for a great dinner experience? Mesler Snoasis did it for me and my birthday guest (12/26). We arrived at the Sophy Hotel Lobby entrance. The luxurious and contemporary decor with a wall to wall fireplace was a beautiful ambiance. We immediately began posing for pictures, while waiting for our reservation time to arrive. Dinner outside in the heated igloo “Snoasis”. From start to finish it was a great experience. Igloo was beautifully decorated, cozy with music from the record player. Our appetizers and dinners was delicious (seafood; beef & chicken). The staff is attentive. Our waiter Michael is very professional and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us in making a delicious choice. Thanks Mesler, I will be back and I’m sure my guest will also. Everyone enjoy it.“

“I visited Cedars with my husband today and we cannot properly convey how much we loved it! The staff was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and the one detail that struck me the most was their treatment of everyone-open and caring. The food was epic; perfectly balanced seasoning, bright flavors, richness without heaviness, lovely fusion dishes and the absolute BEST crispy falafel I have had in my life. I felt so comfortable and at ease while I was there, which is a feeling I don’t usually have in restaurants.
