We're visiting from Maryland and stumbled upon this gem. The service was friendly and fantastic and the food was out of this world. We had 2 short rib meals with Mac n cheese, cabbage and sweet potatoes as well as 1 baked chicken meal. Everything was delicious like it was prepared by your favorite church mother and the prices are great. This will be a goto when we're in town from now on.

I just recently went there. The food was still good and the people were still nice. But after looking at my receipt I noticed a TAKE OUT charge, not once, but twice. I don't like unexpected charges no matter how small they are. I will ask about this the next time I go.

Old time staple, one of the best go to spots back in the day when I would go to the barber shop next door ,miss the good food.
