“Just wish they were back open until 9p“

“I’ve been coming here since I was 8yrs old and they used to have smoking sections in the dining areas. I love this diner. I’m the type of person that will try anything once but when I like something I will make it a usual. So the melting pot was a must get hangover meal after the horseshoe casino when this place was open 24hrs. They changed so much since Covid happened and that’s so unfortunate! I moved away and I still come back just for the hot fingers with extra ranch but they close after 9pm and you can’t dine in after 5pm, that’s so ridiculous now. I just know those hot fingers are carrying the whole joint on its back at this point! Since I can’t catch them during their new dine in hours I’ll have to read the reviews for whatever else is good.“

“It's an older restaurant but the food and the service takes up for that. This was my first time here, I wanted to eat breakfast alone without a lot of noise and this place was just that. The food was nice size portions and the staff was great. I didn't get my waitress name but my food came out just how I ordered it. I normally have a mishap every time I eat out. I will be back. Thank you Hessville staff.“

I understand mistakes happen but I said clearly what I wanted and even pointed at it on the menu. Wrote the wrong thing on the paper and when I asked gave attitude whole time acting like a mistake cannot happen on her end.“

“Haven't ate there in YEARS!!!!BUT did today and it was awesome....EVERYTHING we had was great, potato soup IS the best EVER!!!! Had that and breaded veal senior meal AND the beef hot plate senior meal and was awesome AND the service from the hostess, requested a specific seat/booth with the best lighting to see better and was accommodated with a smile and waitress was awesome!!! Definitely WILL be back again and often.“
