“A friend recommended Las Jacarandas for great Mexican food in the area. We ordered a ton of items to take out. Was not disappointed whatsoever! Tried an assortment of items (chile relleno dinner, variety of tacos such as beef, fish, steak, pork, chorizo, chicken mole) and everything was excellent! The sides (rice, refried beans) and the sauces were all excellent and better than any other Mexican restaurant. Cannot wait to eat in next time!..This place rocks!!“

We just moved to the Chicago area from South Texas, so we know good Mexican food and this place does not disappoint! If you are anywhere near Gary Indiana, you have to stop in to Chela's.
