Went to Merichka's Restaurant with friends today, and it's the first time I ever had the Po Boy with the complete garlic butterine. I've had other great dinners here, but was always a bit leery about the complete garlic butterine--but I'm happy to report that the sandwich was simply terrific. The beef was extremely tender, the bread tasty and crunchy and it had the perfect amount of garlic butterine. I now know why so many people eat the Po Boy at Merichka's and I will be a repeat Po Boy diner too! Jeanne is a great waitress too!

Was there on Fri.later in the afternoon.I was very surprised that there were stairs to walk up,being alot of older people come to this restaurant. There was nothing posted whe you got to the top where you walked in,also the waitress never mentioned about any specail, the poorboy steak was ok,the price could be alittle lowr, the twice baked potatoe was good, the dalad, didnt have any tomatoes in it or crouton,to much dressing, the waitres didn't seem to friendly. There was a couple seating near us,and they were sharing a meal,i didnt know yhat could be done.My daughter had a half chicken, which wasnt that much, she said it was ok! When we both left their was a sign on the wall about cod specail, and my daughter said she would have gotton it if she knew about it.The inside of the place needs some updating, that is my opin ion.I know this place has been here for a long time.I dont live in the area.My daughter has been to your place.Themenu that people see on your website needs to be updated, some things have changed, when we saw the menu when we were ordering.

Had a Greek saganaki salad was tasty with Mediterranean dressing. A little pricey at 13 dollars but good. Had feta cheese and small piece of saganaki fried cheese.
