Russo's Authentic Italian Deli and Cafe

We absolutely love Russos! They have the best authentic Italian food around. We use Russos for all of our children's Birthday parties. We cannot rave enough about the food. The staff is also amazing and the owner Sara is the nicest person you will meet!

I wanted to love this place but I don’t. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and would give them 5 stars but the food mediocre at best. Had the Parma sandwich and it was ok nothing really special. The meat was lacking and cheese good. Ordered the lasagna and was having it for dinner but decided to taste it when I got home. First it wasn’t very warm and the sauce tasted like it was burnt. Didn’t like color. It looked like it had been there a while. Salad was ok. Oh I forgot to mention air conditioning wasn’t working in main table area but by the counter it seemed cooler also the outside is nice with a few tables but faces Plainfield Road so I’m sure it gets noisy. I’m a firm believer of second chances so I will give it another try down the road. Will try something different though

I heard an Italian deli was opening up soon I couldn't wait I anticipated Sausage hanging from the cileing that kind but no . over priced food small sections bottled spaghetti sauce on a shelf

Great sandwiches with fresh ingredients. It's awesome to have a local Italian deli close to us, esp for an area with a lot of chain sandwiches nearby.

Beef sandwich, Caprese Salad and Tiramisu were very good. Happy they are in Crest Hill!

Tried this place for the first time. The Turkey sub was good, not great. The staff was weird, they weren't rude, but not welcoming. I almost felt like i was interrupting their day. Might go back again.

The food was not that good. I hate saying this, but it tasted like it sat out for hours before they served it. The arancinis were dry and not crispy. The lasagna tasted microwaved, and the sauce was lacking something. I couldn't put my finger on it. The ladies working were super sweet

Bought stuff from the deli the cheese was good. They were out of many of their cold salads. The ones I tried were just ok. I had the soup minestrone it was tasty on the bland side for me.

The Sandwiches are awesome!! One of my coworkers recommended I try the place and it was great. Fresh tasty food and excellent look in the restaurant. Very clean

We placed a large take out order Sunday (02/28) afternoon, mostly because we wanted to try a little of everything and it all sounded delicious. It was our first time ordering from Russo’s, I can tell you right now we will be repeat customers. Everything was absolutely perfect and soooo good! I will highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you for a wonderful Sunday treat!
