They used to sell whole wings but they broke them up this time so I got half the wings for the same price

Sharks fish and chicken - 1701 N Larkin Ave #603, Crest Hill, IL 60403 - On 11/2/24, around noon, I stopped by this location because I was in the mood for fish. I ordered a small catfish dinner, specifically the steaks. However, the lady taking my order informed me that they didn’t have any steaks only horseshoe catfish. I asked if the fish was fresh, to which she replied that it was. Accepting their availability, I placed my order. Once I got home and was ready to eat, I was disappointed that the fish was HORRIBLE! It was the tiniest and thinnest piece of fish I had ever seen; a piece of bread was thicker than I received. When I broke a few pieces open, I noticed that some parts of the fish had an odd color, which led me to believe it wasn't as fresh as it should have been. They should be ashamed of the food they are serving, especially considering the rising prices of food everywhere.

Every time I go to Shark's my fish is fresh it's cooked on the spot. The oil was fresh and not old cooking oil. I purchased a 2 item combo, fish and wings. Also purchased a sliced of 🍰.

EXCELLENT service everytime I come in. Food is also delicious. I come in right before work and I never had an issue. Very friendly and kind lady at the cash register as well.

This place is open late, and the staff is so kind. Had my first shark's experience a few weeks back, the shrimp is ????

I ordered the catfish steaks, it was horrible. The fish was tough the batter was mushy, so disappointed

There is always a wait. However, I don't mind that because the food is cooked fresh. I am noticing the cook is frying the seafood and chicken too long, causing it to be too hard, tough texture and dried out. The wings and shrimp are not that big. Cook needs to learn how to adjust cooking times accordingly.

6/9/24. Guy at register charged me for something I DID not ask for, when I tried explaining it to him, he tried to say he was correct, I then explained again I DID NOT ASK FOR THE ITEM THAT HE WAS POINTING AT. I ask for refund for that item that I didn't want to begin with, and he says he cant and that I could come back in the morning when a manager is there. Ask for managers name, and SUDDENLY he is able to give me a refund which he should have just done from the beginning. Bad service, and food took a ridiculous amount of time to recieve. No apology no explanation, just poor service all the way around. Won't be back.
