Stopped by Cone Cottage in Crete for a quick treat! The ice cream was tasty and the prices were fair for what you get. The place has a classic small-town feel, and the staff was friendly enough. What really made the stop fun was that they offered a doggie sundae, which our pup absolutely loved! It’s always nice to find a spot that thinks of the four-legged family members too. Nothing fancy, but a solid choice on a warm day if you’re in the area. Would visit again!

Cone Cottage is an absolute staple and gem ice cream spot in this area! Their prices are fantastic, along with their friendly staff. Everything is made well and quick. They have amazing options and a variety of them too! Our favorite is their "Elephant Poop Blaster" which is seriously one of the best flurries out there. Don't knock it until you try it!!! :)

I want some ice cream so bad! Last time I was there about a month ago I ordered strawberry banana smoothie and the young lady was cutting my bananas with her bare hands. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. Pregnant or not WASH YOUR HANDS & whatever you’re cutting on. I did ask for the manager and she came right away and agreed with me. I advised they either need gloves or to wash hands in the open. Manager stated if they wore gloves they will have to change them often. I said well do what needs to be done. Another young lady chimed in saying there’s no soap at the front sink but clearly I was looking at the blue dial soap at the sink that’s in open view. They washed their hands and remade my smoothie with clean hands. I appreciated that but I won’t be returning! Which makes me sad because I’ve been going there more than half my life.

One of our fave spots but they’ve had a new rule where the won’t put the ice cream in a cone? Has to be a cup or waffle cone? Seems silly
