Just discovered this place today and I am a fan of the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Slightly crunchy to bite followed by soft cookie deliciousness! Will be back and looking forward to trying some lunch dishes. The eat-in area looks cozy and comfortable.

Second time here. First time there were no donuts at 7am and everything was pre-packaged. Today I've been waiting 20 minutes for avocado toast and the people before me had to wait for part of their order that was missed. There won't be a third attempt. Makes me sad, the place before it was great!

Super simple, chill atmosphere, with friendly staff. You order and then are served. Great coffee and five of us ate a different item on menu and all were good! My new - I love this place! ♥️

I’ve been here at least 3 times in the last month. I love this place so much and they have so many options especially for drinks. I usually get the praline French toast and bacon croissant. I decided to switch it up today and I was not disappointed. I recommend this place to everyone!

Stopped in here for some breakfast and wasn't disappointed! It's very seldom you find a solid breakfast place with reasonable prices and lots of homemade goodies. I got the biscuits and gravy, roasted potatoes and the praline french toast.
The biscuits and gravy were excellent and took me back to my gram making homemade gravy when I was a kid, the potatoes were seasoned well and had some really nice texture to them. Last but definitely not least was that delicious praline french toast, the batter they fried it in was perfection and the bread they used soaked up all the maply goodness, I'll be back for sure!

I REALLY enjoyed my visit to The Mixing Bowl!! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating and the food along with the prices were top tier ??‍♀️. I happened to meet the owner, and she’s incredibly kind and humble. I’m so glad they opened! I’ll return soon!

Dietary restrictions: Different types of milks for the tea/coffee

Kid-friendliness: It was a warm environment and there’s plenty of seating that can accommodate the babies

I had a great experience at The Mixing Bowl Cafe. We couldn't decide what to try so we got the chicken salad, the tuna melt and jerk chicken sandwiches with the roasted potatoes. All were very delicious. Everything was flavorful. The atmosphere is great for having a conversation, reading or working. We got some desserts of cookies and cake to go. I will visit again and try other menu items. I highly recommend.

The Tuna melt was SO GREASY I used 3 paper towels to sop it out of the bread than couldn’t eat the 2nd half. Ordered Pasta salad did not receive it and you pay 2$ for it. There are no free sides. I did call and she said she was going to credit our card. They are new in town and we love the location so we will definitely give them another chance hoping they get better.

Love this place, the food is always on point but most importantly, the owners make you feel welcomed. The sweets are homemade in shop and delicious. I’m glad they chose Crete as their home.

The staff are wonderful! There could be improvement in preparing hot food items. This business should really consider investing in a warming station for the hot food and better time management with cooking various items. My parents each ordered the breakfast platter and I ordered biscuits/gravy and avocado toast. The biscuits/gravy came out first and it was delicious but the biscuit was cold and the gravy was barely warm! So I was only able to take a bite and had to take it to go.Both of my parents breakfast platters were warm/cool, the eggs being the only item on the warmer/hot side. They said it tasted great but hard to really enjoy a hot meal when it’s not hot.My avocado toast was way too salty and balsamic dressing was drizzled all over it which I was not expecting (I don’t like it). I tried taking most of it off but it still overpowered everything on the toast along with the salt. The sweets were great.I want to give this place a second chance but from other recent reviews.. it seems things have yet to change. Hoping over time they can improve.

This place is very welcoming with its environment and staff. I’ve been here a few times and the food isn’t great unfortunately. On my last trip here, I had avocado toast and matcha. The avocado toast was extremely salty that it was hard to eat. I also asked for no blue cheese and they still put it on. Also I’ve had their matcha twice and it just taste watery, I don’t know if it’s the type of matcha they use that isn’t right. In the past, I’ve gotten a sandwhich and if I’m honest it looks like a basic sandwhich with ham and cheese from my kitchen. I’d go back to sit and work but I’m not so certain about eating there. The only food that’s been good has been desserts and mini pancakes.
