We arrived early and sat in the bar awaiting our table. Bartender brought our excellent cocktails. We were seated shortly after. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable. Mashed potatoes ($6.00) are supposed to be served at 140–175 degrees (thanks, Google). I only asked if they could pop them in the microwave to warm them up—not really sure why the owner had to get snotty about my husband's cool mashed potatoes. 😛
I had a first date here and it ended very well. Definitely asked her for a second date after we were done eating and sharing drinks and just conversing. The wine selection is varied and I felt complete. They had an array of our favorites and decided on a Rosé. The Hampton Water Rosé was fabulous.
