First time eating at this Japanese restaurant very nice very clean
Food is exceptional they serve large portions
The server that we have was excellent in the atmosphere was spot on. They have Booth seating you can sit at the bar or you can sit in front of the hibachi grill and hopefully your eyebrows don't get singed lolol the cooks put on a show so there is a little bit of flame involved. We were sitting at least 10 ft away from one of those grills and felt the heat I am surprised that people have their little children very close to that fire from the grill
But other than that everything was excellent and will be coming back very soon

we had dinner for our 25th wedding anniversary. Didn't sit at hibachi but could still see the action at the hibachi stations. Booths are very private. Felt very special & like we were somewhere else entirely. Service was excellent!! Food was amazing. Will definitely go back & not wait for a special occasion. Lots of food too.

I just visited Kyoto Japanese Restaurant in Crystal Lake, and wow—what an incredible and unique experience! This is so much more than just delicious food—it’s a full-on show. We were seated at a table where the chef prepares your meal right in front of you, and it was absolutely amazing to watch. Everything is cooked fresh on the spot with fun fire and light effects that make the whole experience exciting and unforgettable—truly impressive!

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of great energy. You can really feel the positive vibe from the moment you walk in.

I left with the biggest smile and so many wonderful emotions—I already can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and memorable night out.

first time eating here, service was great from the start. very attentive and efficient. the sushi appetizers and rolls were great and the hibachi entrees were okay, the hibachi entrees come with soup, salad, rice and an ice cream dessert so that's a great deal! definitely would come back to try more sushi as they had so many yummy options to choose from!

I have ordered a stir fried noodles whit scallop 😁but the chef forgot to add scallops 4 tiny pieces like on the pictures for $25 plates 🫣🤫the know how to run a business 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 so unprofessional locals and for the order I made waiting for 1 hour 😁😁😁never again at this location

Celebrated my daughter’s birthday here. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

SO GREAT!!! The Filet and Chicken combo was perfect and the show is slightly different depending on who you get so its new each time you visit!
