This place by far the best food near Lake In the Hills, Algonquin, Cary, and Crystal Lake. So many torta options to choose from. Staff is super friendly and the restaurant and seating area are the cleanest of any restaurant I’ve been to. My top choice for sure.

Based on the reviews, La Mega Premium Michoacana - Taqueria is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is authentic, fresh, and hot, with large portions at a great price for what you pay. The variety is great, including tacos, torta, Huarache, elote, AlPastor, Asada tacos, a burger, and ice cream. The AlPastor is the absolute best, the Steak was awesome with no grizzled steak, and the Elote was fire. The staff is accommodating, helpful, and provides service with a smile. The place is super clean, styled really cute inside, and is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. It is a must try.
