I was completely blown away today with the great customer service I had just experienced with Linda the catering manager. She went above and beyond as I was having an office meeting and had issues placing the catering order. She was very kind and understanding.The food is always fantastic at this location as well. I definitely recommend this Potbelly to everyone. Thank you for saving my lunch meeting Linda.:)

I love Potbelly, it is my favorite place to get a sandwich. But this particular one in Crystal Lake is absolutely terrible when it comes to delivery. Four times in a row there’s been an issue. They couldn’t accept my payment (even though my card wasn’t expired and I had sufficient funds). They delivered late twice, and marked my food as delivered when it never showed up. It’s frustrating when a place you love just can’t do simple things right and make things complicated…

Just your typical Potbelly location. Service was great, the employees were very talkative and attentive. There were not many customers when my coworkers and I last went inside around lunch time during the week. I always love potbelly, i like that they toast the sandwiches. It was nothing special but its always a good spot for food, you know what to expect, and this location is convenient.

middle aged blonde woman who served me yesterday was extremely rude off the bat, cut me off while i was talking, asked me several times what i wanted on the sandwich and then scimped me on all the toppings. i go to potbelly’s and get the same thing every week and the sub i got was half the size it normally is, it barely had any toppings on it. the sub i ordered was supposed to have hummus, avocado, mustard mayo and oil and the sub was dry. we will not be returning and i recommend just going to another location because you won’t get what you ask for. potbelly’s please correct this kind of behavior because it does not meet the customers standards!

Update: 5-2023, bread is still good, but the sandwich pepper additions were incredibly sparse compared to last time. Maybe 3-4 peppers total? Sorry guys, inconsistencies like this subtract a star. (Only 2nd time eaten here)Original: OMG, for fast food, this is great! The bread is delicious toasted perfectly. Slight crisp on exterior and soft inside. Split "A Wreck" plus hot peppers and onions...Nice alternative to Panera or other sandwich shop...Yummm.

I get a sandwich at Potbelly's (Crystal Lake) 2-3 times a month and love the place. I just love hot sandwiches. The ingredients are always fresh. The service for in-store orders is always quick and efficient. The staff is pleasant. Of all their fantastic offerings, I like the Avo Turkey and the Wreck the best. It's my first choice for lunch when I'm in Crystal Lake. The only downside is their email/phone app bargains and double points only apply if you use their phone app, which was a total disaster the one time I tried it. The lesson I learned was to skip the phone app and ONLY order in person, at the restaurant. It's far quicker. I've walked in around noon time with 9-10 people waiting by the register for their called-in or on-line orders. I can order, get my sandwich and pay for it within 5 minutes max, while in that same 5 minutes, only 1 or 2 of those waiting for their orders get their food and leave. Gets 5 stars from me.
