Vine and Plate Reviews
Delicious unique fare and cocktails. City vibe in the suburbs. Recommend the Vine margarita, braised short rib panini, and holy grail grilled cheese. We’ll be back to support this local restaurant especially because the staff is so friendly.

Vine and Plate offers a great menu with creative dishes, perfect for laid-back yet upscale dining. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious, with every dish tasting like it was made with care and top-quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service in a charming atmosphere. A big shoutout goes to the servers, who consistently make every visit feel special. Customers have praised the gnocchi in cream sauce as fluffy clouds of pure deliciousness and highlighted the steak sandwich as the best they've ever had, with tender, flavorful meat. The menu is always changing, featuring fantastic drinks like the blood orange negroni and the Vine margarita. The restaurant is considered a nice date night spot and a true gem by the local community, with an excellent wine selection and beautifully crafted drinks. While some diners noted that the portions could be small and that food takes a while to come out, the overall experience remains delightful, especially in the cute atmosphere with no TVs. Although some seating areas can be a bit noisy or hot, Vine and Plate is still recommended for those seeking a low-key, laid-back bite with a drink. Espresso is also available, which is a welcomed rarity in the Midwest.
