This is a true home town bar.. The bar tender Emily should be the manager she has so many good ideas on themed nights. And she's very friendly. This place has a lot of bad rumors about it. I assure you their not true... I love this place
Emily which is the bartender is great Murray which is the bartender during the daytime is great Betty which is the bartender also. They are open until 3 a.m. I love this place they need to turn up the heat it's cold

This place has been totally remodeled and has a space to host large parties. All are welcome here. The owner is a very nice upstanding gentleman. Stop here if you are driving from Champaign to Indianapolis.. or if you are making a day trip to Danville from Indiana. People at the black bear are very friendly to those who only see the Sunnyside.
