Buds food truck came to Villa Grove to support The Big Boy steam engine locomotive stop. We had corn dog and fries. Rather than taking advantage of the environment the price was only $3 for each. Many take advantage of these events and I thank Buds for coming.
After hearing multiple individuals discuss the goodness of the bbq from this place, I wanted to give it a try. I saw the food truck and stopped to order the chicken wings, fries, and greens. Admittedly, I was disappointed in the overall taste of the food. The chicken seemed to be cooked in old grease, (notice dark tips & dark spots), and it was over-cooked.
