I'm new in Danville and I was looking for a good custard place, everyone was talking about their lemon flavor, so I went and tried it and I instantly loved it!! Their lemon and cheesecake snowstorm is the best!!!!!

I've been going to The Custard Cup since I was a little girl, sixty-six+ years ago. I always try to visit this wonderful ice cream store, when I'm in town. I hope it remains the same because it's the jewel of Danville! It's a Danville INSTITUTION!!

Ice cream was gritty.

Busy, but they were prompt on getting the order out. Ordered a small Oreo and Mocha Snowstorm and 2 quarts to go

What can I say. Been a favorite of mine since childhood. They don’t disappoint, the best cold treats all summer long.

Hometown favorite. Always stop by when in town and it’s open. Have been bringing my girls here for years & now we share it with my husband. Got the Cubs helmet for a keepsake this time.

I make it a point to stop there every time I am in Danville, IL. I have been going there for decades. And I wish I could get ice cream that good where I live.

It's a nice clean and delicious ice cream stand where you can get yogurt as well as ice cream and it is delicious and the staff is outstanding

I stop at the custard cup every time I'm in Danville. Its a little walk-up-to-the-window-and-order type of place with no indoor seating. The employees have all been friendly & helpful. Their sundaes & chocolate sodas are very good. I appreciate that they use hot fudge on the sundaes instead of the cheaper option of chocolate syrup that many stores use. They also give you an option of which type of nuts to have on the sundae instead of just slopping on the old standby of peanuts. Their prices aren't bad, it's just that their serving sizes are a bit on the small side for the drinks. There was a lot of air space between the top of the cup & my chocolate soda. It's a nice break on a hot summer day & definitely worth a stop. One thing, though, make sure they've given you everything in your order. Multiple times I've left without receiving something I paid for.

Good custard, got the "black and white", which is vanilla with marshmallow sauce and hot fudge. It was good, however very rich.
