Hometown favorite. Always stop by when in town and it’s open. Have been bringing my girls here for years & now we share it with my husband. Got the Cubs helmet for a keepsake this time.
I stop at the custard cup every time I'm in Danville. Its a little walk-up-to-the-window-and-order type of place with no indoor seating. The employees have all been friendly & helpful. Their sundaes & chocolate sodas are very good. I appreciate that they use hot fudge on the sundaes instead of the cheaper option of chocolate syrup that many stores use. They also give you an option of which type of nuts to have on the sundae instead of just slopping on the old standby of peanuts....read full review

I've been going to The Custard Cup since I was a little girl, sixty-six+ years ago. I always try to visit this wonderful ice cream store, when I'm in town. I hope it remains the same because it's the jewel of Danville! It's a Danville INSTITUTION!!
