I have eaten at the Royal Buffet twice in the last month, and I found the food tasty and well prepared. The buffet is extensive with four sections of a variety of foods including desserts. It also has an Hibachi Grill and also a steak grill where your food may be prepared right on the spot with fresh ingredients you choose. This is the best Chinese buffet (with Hibachi grille) that I know of in 2 states, Indiana and Illinois. We drive 100 miles to eat here and this is a place where I can find food that matches my (FODMAP) Diet.
The selection is great, the staff is nice, and the atmosphere peaceful.

Royal Buffet is an awesome dining experience. The wait staff is very helpful, and the food is always hot, well-stocked, and continuously watched and filled. The hibachi bar offers raw food that is cooked to order, ensuring freshness. The buffet is extensive, with four sections featuring a variety of foods, including desserts. There is also a Hibachi Grill and a steak grill where food can be prepared right on the spot with fresh ingredients. While some areas could use improvement, such as the carpeting and booth repairs, the overall dining experience is recommended, especially with a 10% discount for seniors 60 and older.
