Believe the reviews. Slow service. I waited over 45 mins for my order to come out. Bartender/waitress was not the friendliest but the drinks were good. Overall I’m staying for 2 more days and definitely won’t be back even though it’s in close proximity to my hotel. Steak was a little overcooked and my my mac was cold. This is probably the worst Saltgrass location I’ve ever been too. 2 stars only because the drinks were good.

We have tried this restaurant three times, and just can’t get excited about it. We have tried different things. Chicken friend steak was not one that we preferred, but it’s a steakhouse. The new cook overcooked our table’s food (That’s what they told us was the delay), so we had to wait a little longer as they redid it. No problem. My steak was overcooked, the chicken was horribly gristly, and the mashed potatoes were not horribly good. Th amount of customers seemed to infer it was not meeting expectations. Two things we have had that are pretty good: the Jalapeño appetizer, and the cheesecake. The chocolate cake for dessert is very poor.

Food was good, but service was not great. I've been to several other Saltgrass Steak Houses and they've always been good. The rattlesnake bites are to die for. Best item on the menu. The wedge salad was great (the balsamic dressing is different and great on this wedge with lots of Bleu cheese). The steak was just warm (butter wouldn't melt). It was cooked medium rare perfectly though, but clearly had been sitting in the kitchen. That brings me to the service. We sat at the table for 15 mins before anyone even acknowledged us. While waiting to see if someone would help us, I watched two people clean tables and booths by wiping the seats with a cloth and then using it on the table. Once a cloth has touched the floor or a seat, it's a rag and should never be used on an eating surface again. Another waitress from the other side of the restaurant came over and got our drink orders. Our actual waitress had walked by about five times and never even looked at us. After the other waitress took our drink orders, our waitress finally came. This appeared to be isolated to our waitress though. The other tables seemed to have good service as multiple tables seated after we placed our drink orders were gone before we even finished eating. The restaurant is nice and the menu is fairly simple, but they definitely need to improve their service.

This was our fourth time there and our second bad experience. my steak was supposed to be well done had to send it back once, and when it came back again, it was still pink. His Steak was supposed to have extra seasoning and cooked medium. Had no seasoning and was undercooked. When he got his back, it was same steak that they told us was just thrown back on grill to finish cooking but he had already had his mouth on steak to taste for seasoning. Therefore, his germs were basically put back on the grill alongside other peoples steaks. The good experiences we had on the other two times were great however.

We arrived at restaurant at reservation time, hostess was not real friendly she seemed annoyed that she had to seat us. Was not impressed with menu choices. But when we received food it wasn't too bad. The server was slow even though she had only 2 tables. Every time we asked for something it took forever to get. And somethings asked for twice and never received them. Server also was telling table next to us how she had a one night stand and got pregnant. Just seemed a little unprofessional. Nothing remarkable about this place.

Tonight we celebrated a birthday... When we reserved the reservation we put that we were celebrating a birthday. Every single dish/side came out COLD. There wasn't a manager that approached the table to ask how the meal/experience the salt grass had to offer was going. For example (there was a 1.5 scoop of butter on each ribeye ) that wouldn't melt during the duration of the meal. Our overall experience for a birthday dinner was not met at our expectations. Hope to be better in the future!

We arrived at 4:30 with a party of 9 (30 minutes after opening) to be denied seating due to later reservations. Also denied to be seated as a party of 4 and 5 separately. Very poor service and management to not be able to seat guests even split into 2 parties. Very rude and unprofessional in addressing my family member. We were told that to get seated on Saturdays, you would have to have a reservation which from experience here with a party of 6 on multiple Saturdays is not true.

The food was cold, improperly cooked, and took hours. This place has continually disappointed.

The restaurant looks really nice but that’s about where it stops. It took an hour to get food, and no one’s steak was actually cooked right. Ordered mine as a medium-well and I was amazed it wasn’t still breathing, it was so rare. The potatoes were ice cold and the grilled shrimp was barely warm.I really thought some of these reviews were going to be wrong since we’d heard such good things about this place when it opened. Sad to say it was a major disappointment and we would never return. Not to mention, they ran our card twice, and we had to flag someone down for an explanation. Service was rough and it looked really short staffed.

We come to Saltgrass atleast once a month since they've opened. We've had one poor experience before lastnight. We had a larger party with a reservation placed over a week in advance and still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. We were greeted by our waitress right away with drink orders and then after drink orders were taken didn't see her for about 30 minutes when she brought out our drinks.. We then told her we were also ready to order appetizers and dinner. Placed our dinner orders. Half our drinks were empty at this point and we asked for more and never received them. Stopped multiple servers and went up to the host stand to check on our drinks and food that were now placed over an hour. Food then came out at 2 hours of being seated. Every plate but 1 was ice cold, seafood, steaks, fries, all cold. Very unfortunate because we've now been here over 2 hours and we're just served cold food. Once we told the server she was not nice, not happy about it. We were here for a celebration after a very great day and this was just an awful ending. We used to enjoy coming here and recommending Saltgrass but after yesterday we will not be back or recommending for a very long time.. So unprofessional and waste of money for service and food like we were provided.

I ordered my steak medium well came back. Bloody raw sent it back. Came back barely cooked again. Waitress asked me how it was. I told her doable but I wasn't happy. Never got a refill. This is the fourth time I've ate there. The other times are fantastic. This last time was so disappointing.

Mixed experiences with this place. First trip was for dinner. Steaks were perfect, salmon was well cooked, service was attentive and efficient. Second trip was for brunch. They were clearly understaffed, out of some of the entree options on the menu, the wait for service was prohibitive to ordering seconds on anything despite the fact the entire price of brunch is based on "all you can eat". It would be a good value IF you could get your order in and brought to you.
