2-14-20 My wife and I, along with another couple, had dinner. We were seated, after a brief wait to have our table set up for 4, although there were other tables already set up for 4 guests. Not sure why we were not seated at a set up table, as we had reservations and the establishment was about half occupied at 6:45pm.

Brother in town from North Carolina. Was taking our 90 yr old mother, my other brother and myself and husband out for special meal. 3 of us ordered the 8 oz filet. Waiter came back and said the table behind us got the last 2 8 oz filets. Then said they had 2 8 oz left but could cut them in half to make 4 ...4oz filets. Brother ended up having to get cod and husband got crab legs. Then my brother asked for a 2nd bloody Mary but they were out of mix!! Waiter told us meat order hadn't come in. I'd say that's restaurant's problem not ours! Won't be going back!

Great food and unique dining experience.

Always delicious and the staff is amazing. One of the nicer places in town that you can still take children to and feel welcome!

Went to Bizou for the first time, with a party of 12, after a reasonable wait the table got their food with the exception of my Wife and I. The Waitress apologized and reordered our food. When it got to the table my Wife's food was undercooked. When approached, the Head Chef was very rude. Not to mention cold food and wrong food for the other people at our table. In the end the meal was free for the table, very nice looking restaurant, my suggestion to the Management is to work on his bedside manner. Won't be going back anytime soon.

So far....some really good food is being served up here! 2nd weekend in a row going for dinner. Last night was a house salad with the amazing tri-tip street tacos. All was good except the salsa verse. They also included a house sauce that was to die for. Hubby had the 6 oz. filet, with fries, and it was so well seasoned and delicious!! These were from their "Small Plates" choices and was plenty of food for us.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend on our somewhat rare "fancy date night", the drinks and food were fabulous, and the staff was LOVELY! Our server Audrey was so sweet and considerate, and the bartender was incredibly sweet too and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was good. As we were getting ready to finish up our meal, the owner stopped by our table to talk to us for a bit and she was lovely too. That carrot cake is TO DIE FOR, it was SO good I honestly almost cried. Definitely looking forward to the next time we go here!

Overall good experience. The atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. The food was little over cooked and I don't like that you don't get a selection for your sides you get what chef decides, but other than that it's one of the better restaurants in Decatur area.

Very enjoyable. Soup du jour (cream of asparagus) and shrimp po' boy were very good. Service pleasant. Nice atmosphere. I recommend!

If you're looking for a fine dining experience this is the place for you. Located in the downtown area of Decatur it sits on the corner of the small business district. The inside decor is furnished with a modern flare. It was very clean and spacious. I made a reservation for 3 for 5:00pm, but we were the first to arrive. So we had the restaurant to ourselves for a little while. The service was prompt and pleasant. We started off with appetizers consisting of bacon rolled scallops, with spinach and a honey glaze(amazing), and fried veggies that were tasty. The main courses were delicious....porterhouse porkchops, 8oz Angus steak, and a swordfish special. Everything was made quick and hot. The kitchen is in an open space facing the dining area. So you can see the cooks preparing the dishes. Overall, we enjoyed our eating experience, and will visit again in the near future. I was the only one that had a dessert of creme burlee. My bill was reasonable for what I ordered. I highly recommend Bizou! I did recommend they have live jazz to set the ambience...that would top it off!
