I had a great experience here the breakfast was amazing get the waffles just slightly better than the pancakes but they were really good too. The waitress/ busboy/ hostess looked overworked but did an amazing job too.

I’ve visited now 3 times in the past 6 weeks for breakfast on a weekend morning. On each trip the food and service were excellent and consistent.The bacon is some of the best bacon I’ve ever had in a restaurant and the waffles are awesome. That butter makes it better!Keep up the great work!

Some of the worst service I’ve had in Decatur! Servers walk off while you are trying to talk to them. Had to wait for a table while there were 3 booths open and the set others down. Waited forever to get our drink order which came out wrong. Been here almost an hour and still don’t have food yet. Had such high hopes for huddle house coming here been to a lot of really good ones. Second time coming here and will definitely be the last. Came when they first opened had the same experience and we waited to try again thinking it was just them working the bugs out. Definitely was not.

So last week I ordered the hash browns casserole and meat lover omelet. It was good. So I have to go take care of some business. I have Cerebral Pasley and my legs was hurting. And I didn't to cook because I was afraid I might fall. So I ordered two plates of hash browns casserole. When I got my order. They gave two pieces of cake a cheeseburger and other plates of food. I just want to say thank you ?

I've ate there once and ordered take out several times, kind of pricey, but, the food has always been good. To be honest, I've never paid attention to my receipt...until today. I was made aware, during the ordering process, that there was a $1.00 charge for take-out packaging, but, there was also a charge of $2.70, labeled as a 3PD Fee. I wasn't sure what this was, and proceeded to call for clarification. I was told it was a charge for using my credit card...which, by the way, is the only way you can pay, when ordering online for carry out. I explained to them, this should be disclosed, during the ordering process. In doing the math, the $2.70, calculates out to 18%, which I'm assuming is a tip. Don't get me wrong, when I eat out, I tip generously...I do not tip for pick up.

Huddle House is a great choice for any meal of the day. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old only eats peanut butter and jelly for lunch. The server made that happen even though that is not an item on the menu.
