Rolled into Decatur, IL starving. While washing clothes, I googled where to eat. I chose the one closest to us. This is where it gets amazing. Amazing soul food! I can't wait to go back. These are good people who love sharing their love with the world. If you are anywhere near this amazing place please stop in.
We've been here twice. The food is great. Greens, pinto beans, yams, fried chicken, pork loin with mashed potatoes and awesome gravy. Everything was seasoned just right. The waitress was cleaning the whole time she wasn't serving us. All the staff were very friendly.

There is absolutely no other restaurant that provides better cuisine than this place. OMG! You will enjoy well-seasoned food served in large portions with the best lemonade and iced tea on this side of the delta. Don't miss out on this one. You will be sorry! Oh, and the prices are unbelievable. I highly recommend that if you are in Dectur, you must visit this tourist attraction.
