We had a group of teens that needed lunch. The service was quick even with three vans in their parking lot. The kids appreciated the price that they could afford a full meal.

Door Dashed burger , fries, shakes. Shakes were as usual were delicious. I ordered cheese fries for $5.10. The fries were soggy and cold , in a bag small as Ff from other establishments. My husband got a triple hamburger with lettuce and tomato. The lettuce appeared to have been cooked with the burger it was greasy and slimy. The hamburgers were so dry it fell apart onto the floor when he opened it. The tomato looked like it had been stepped on and put on the bun.
We have never had food so terrible from Kreckles in the past For $43 (including all the extra charges from DD )our dog was thrilled with her dinner.

This was where my dad ate 2 or 3 times a week back in 1972, in the back of the kitchen with a friend, and the incredible old man Krekel frying burgers on the grill! Thanks so much for the memories!

We arrived at 8:59 pm and they closed at 9. We went to another Kreckles first but they were closed for vacation. They were super friendly and even though they were about to close the owner was adamant that we order what we wanted. Next time I come to Kreckles it will be this one.
I'm 65 years old now when I went to John's hill we went there for lunch the original owner was flipping burgers such great memories and to this day that the only krekels I go to

5/2/24 @3pm - Tourist here trying the chocolate kustard, and it is not very flavorful. I haven't had kustard in years, so I made a U-turn for this. Not worth the stop.

It was my first visit to Krekel's, so I was a little slow and clumsy with my order. It was just after 11am, so they weren't busy yet. Anyway, I didn't see a soft drink menu, so I asked the nice gentleman, who was taking my order, what do you have? He mentioned having several Coke products. Then, my son asked if they had Coke Zero, and he said yes. Problem solved. The lady cashier, next to him, said that 'we don't have time to hold your hand, the drink menu is over there'. I'm not sure if that comment was intended for her co-worker or us!! In any event, we felt a little humiliated. At least she didn't say 'No soup for you'!!... No big deal, she seemed to know all of the regular's names, and she was an excellent worker bee. Overall, my order taker was friendly, and the food was great!!
