Food was absolutely amazing 👏 I'd highly recommend coming here if you're in Decatur Illinois. I seriously got my money worth instead of going to some fast food place which would have costed the same if not more. I spent 9 dollars and got a drink and a delicious double cheese burger that was cooked to order. 😋 they also have ice cream so it would be a great place to go for the kids, they have many flavors. And even with them being super busy I literally only waited...
Krekel’s has multiple locations in Decatur, but this is my favorite. I grew up in Decatur and now live in Florida, but whenever I am back in town I always head to this stand for old times sake.
The burgers are tasty and the fries are crispy. I am all for nostalgia and crackles hits the spot!

Every time I get back to Decatur I always hit Krekels. Just as good as it has always been. Magic in the bag. The way the cheese and beef mix. Well, you just can't beat it!
