Monical's is my favorite pizza place. The buffet is always great. However, they placed pizzas on top of the buffet and left them. By the time I finished my salad and got my pizza, it was cold. Not good.

Good was fantastic which is why I scored this a5 instead of a 4. The waitresses was paying more attention to a large group mosh than my party of 2, probably figuring a larger to from that big group. Good thing the food was a good as it was.

I've been a fan of Monical's pizza all of my life and since they were in a small little hole in the wall place when I was young. I remember the fake grapes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling. Still they are my #1 favorite place to get a pizza. Unfortunately, I no longer live in Illinois to enjoy their pizza. I live in the Pizza Capital of the United States (Connecticut) and still their pizza doesn't compare to my hometown taste for Monical's.

There wasn't a lot on the buffet. The pizza was pretty skimpy on the toppings and pizza and lettuce salad is all the buffet had. 3-4 different flavors of pizza. A little disappointing

Look here, I'm new to eating at Monicals. I've only been eating here for the last year now. It's usually been about $30 or $40 bucks max. How come I placed a carryout order tonight 11/11/2025 at 4:30pm and it came up to $72!!!! Family Pleaser $26, large 1 topping $22, cheese sticks $14. Even after placing the order I called back and had the manager take another look at it bc the math ain't mathin. I like Monicals Pizza but I don't know if I $72 like it. Ridiculious 🤦🏻♀️
