Panera food is not that fantastic... I recently visited and the chicken has definitely taken a downgrade... super watery, pressed and processed. I can't believe they feed it to us. The bread has also taken a downgrade since Covid. There's more chemicals in it so it "last longer" - longer shelf life. At Decatur Panera, you barely get any food product on most sandwiches. Panera can and should do better. Definitely not worth the money.

The problem with the Decatur location is that it is filthy. The windows, floors, bathrooms, and outside need some cleaning. There were knats and flies in the backroom.

Kiosk is a very efficient way to order optimizing speed and customization, leading to many ways to make your favorite meal. The food is fast compared to many other places. The seating is also nice and spread out, creating an ideal work space for many people. The food is amazing, too, especially the new basil BLT and the cream of chicken soup.

Ordered on app. Got emailed it was ready as I'm on the way. Go to order bread and pick it up and look for my app order... someone stole my order. They were out of everything in my order and couldn't redo it. I waited for refund. Waited for 15 minutes to.find out they refunded back to giftcard. At this point I have spent my entire 30 minute lunch break at Panera and I ended up being 20 minutes late returning to work and still had no food. Corporate needs to fix pickup orders and figure out how to prevent people's stuff from being stolen. So thanks for no food for lunch!
