Having an area designed and labeled for "Rapid Pickup" items, and then not setting the bags on the labeled shelve does not make sense to me. Several times I have waited for my order, only to realize it is in an area not labeled for Rapid Pickup and is instead sitting next to dine in orders getting cold as no one called the name out or drew attention to it. Either use the labeled shelf and area, or instruct through that app or in-store signage where Pickup items will be placed.

I submit order and instead of your website or even staff saying it isn't ready yall let me waste my time waiting longer and no staff coming to correct it or come talk to me letting me know the bread wasn't available. Instead I see my order go from prepping to ready. At that point figured it's busy so I'll wait a few. No orderes come out after 5 more minutes so I went to the counter. They informed me no bread option I selected. So I call and ask my mom what she wants and she gave two options. At that point they say no and I said then just cancel the order since my mom didn't want sour dough bread. I then stated yall should update your website and cancel my order. A few minutes later they call my phone and they inform my wife that I was angry customer. Umm no I said update your website and cancel order. They then tell my wife they can make the food...if it was that simple how come they couldn't then ?!? The bread magically appear?! Just a joke. Yall are gas lighting. Anytime you'd like to apologize me, employees who were working, and manager can sit and watch the interaction. Because you all lied on the line and on the phone to my wife.

It's one of the better places to get coffee and chill in Decatur. Panera kinda expensive on food but at least worth it. Good ol reliable panera. I think that one manager who did all the coke don't work there no more so 5 stars all day. Hopefully they ain't working em that hard no more. Relax with friends or a laptop in this cozy environment

I ordered a bagel party pack and was missing bagels again. It's okay if they were just out of the chocolate chip ones, but I would've liked to just gotten different flavors instead of paying full price and being shorted two bagels. :(The service is usually awesome, great staff, and the place is very clean and welcoming.

Hello, your deactur illinois panera bread is an excessively rude place. I understand off days happen, but this was a lot.I saw I could customize the ham baguette sandwich, so I requested turkey instead of ham (since it was allowed in online order, I assumed it's acceptable in store)Cashier rudely stated this ain't a subway to which it was explained. I only wanted to switch the meat on the sandwich, and that's allowed on an online order.They kept us waiting for 30 mins and then tried to argue we never ordered, which we provided the receipt, and then they finally handed us a sandwich. After leaving, I opened it and discovered all they did was melt cheese on a baguette.They were very rude the whole time, and after many phone calls, they agreed to take a name and replace the sandwich. Though we aren't nearby to do so.But that was an excessively bad experience.

For a business that deals in totally sandwiches and soup, it was not good. My French Onion Soup was the worst I've had. The sandwich was small and nothing special. For this I paid twenty bucks. The staff are great though.
