Not the same since they changed owners. Maybe if they kept the same hours and a few items from their menu if possible would they still be open. Sorry to see it closed.

The waitress said she was working with no pay. She did have a paying factory job before this. She said the new owner was not involved, and she was running the business. Her husband was making chili. Another worker did come in. I asked for a chili dog with no soot (that's what she called it), and it came with soot. Another chili, I decided not to order came out without soot. There was no ice cream to make shakes. This business needs to figure out what's going on. The worker said she couldn't quit because people wanted Paul's to stay open.

Wow, this restaurant has a new owner who went here with his dad as a child, and he loves Decatur and didn’t want this restaurant to go under. It has a full menu with terrific service. I understand it is all remodeled and has new equipment. Give it a try and you will be surprised. Kids especially love the chili Mac and the shakes. The adults like the jumbo tenderloin and grilled pork loin. It is known for Paul’s famous chili.

First time I have been here. Fun spot. Has an old diner feel. The food was really great too. I couldn't even finish it. The fried mushrooms were probably my favorite part. They do then right. Not too slimy. Will return. Cash only though so bring that.
