Our vegan group, Project Animal Freedom - Decatur, IL, went to Rasoi, and we had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. It is not elaborate in decorations, but the food and servers make the restaurant special. The servers and chef and manager made sure our food was vegan, and assured us they would not serve something they knew was not vegan to us!
Everyone enjoyed the food they got, but those who ordered Level 3, medium spicy, found it a little more spicy than they thought. Still, they ate all of it! I loved my mildly spicy choice.
The aloo gobi with cauliflower dry curry is so delectable - I look forward to returning and ordering it again!

I have never had a bad meal here. I order here 1-2 times per month, and the food is consistently flavorful and delicious. It's the best Indian restaurant in Decatur and I hope they stay in business for a long time!
I recently moved to this town and have been ordering from this place. They put such great notes with the package that it is super sweet!! Delicious food ofcourse ? but they do take customer care up a notch. Kudos to the person for making my day by sending that extra dessert.

I have eaten a lot of Indian food in different cities and countries and this place is a gem to have in Decatur. The food is not only appetizing but also the presentation is great. The naan was crispy and flavorful, the dal was great. My favorite dish was the mattar/mutter paneer, great flavor! Would highly recommend going to Rasoi.Vegetarian options: Best cuisine for vegetarians in my opinion.Dietary restrictions: Waitress asked for dietary accommodations.Parking: Plenty of parking, large lot..Kid-friendliness: Large booths for children.

10/10!!! SOOOOO GOOD!!! Some of the best food I have ever eaten. We got chefs special Naan, chicken 65, and vegetable samosas as Appetizers. My husband ordered butter chicken and I had the chicken vindaloo. Every single disg was absolutely delicious. The flavors! The spices! ? ? I cannot say enough good things. They also gave us complimentary rice pudding. And the prices incredible as well. For all this food it was around $60. The service was wonderful as well. Everyone was kind, attentive, and friendly. This was my first time having authentic Indian food and I am 100% in love. Excellent food if you are a fan of Indian food you guys have to try it. The curries each had their own distinct taste and they all were very delicious. Same goes with the samosas, naan, roti, and rice - all were yummy! I was very happy with the portion sizes and the Indian spices. I would recommend this Indian food.

Ordered carry out, when I get home I find a cracked lid and an entire meal dumped into the bottom of the bag.I call to explain what happened, and I'm told that it's not their problem, then hung up on.Last time I or my family will be ordering here.
