This is my new favorite place in Decatur, Illinois to eat! My sister and I both had the shrimp fajitas and there was A LOT of shrimp on both of our plates...so much that we brought half of it home and ate it the next night! Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Tried to give this place chance after chance and no change. Table was dirty not once did the server wipe, I had to ask for napkins and cleaned it. Order birria tacos and they were terrible.. the male server never checked on us, and this isn’t first time with him. He made us feel rushed and was focused on something else. We gave up on this place and will be waiting for El Rodeo

Came in at 8pm. Our server didn’t know what was inside the chile relleno, and when I ask him to ask the chef he came back stating they were out. I asked for kettle one and he didn’t know what that was. I was still eating and the staff was already cleaning the floor, creating dust right next to me. I then asked for desert and apparently they were all out. Worse service ever. Sadly because 6 months ago I met the manager and she was nice.

We love this place, it's up there in our top 5, NEVER had a bad experience at Tacos & Tequila.
Food smells good but I've been sitting here in the restaurant for 33m waiting on my takeout order. At least 3 other tables have come in after me and ordered food and received their food before me. Very disappointing.
Update. The tacos were upside down in the foil. The meat fell out while flipping it over.
The veggie burrito was a plate of wet vegetables, peppers, onions, green beans, broccoli and carrots with a flour tortilla loosely wrapped around it.
The chips are good though!
