We had a large group with a mix of kids and adults. Our server was SUPER patient, tolerated our many questions and requests, got our orders right as well as our checks!! Thank you Eddie!!! Everyone's food was amazing. The staff and server were super accommodating. It was a great atmosphere. Thanks for making our kids' state wrestling weekend start on a good note. My family will be back when we are in Decatur!! They even printed special menus for our group!

Everything good but the Mac& cheese had very little flavor l think better cheese would fix it. The waitress perfect .??? The restroom around the toilet and urinal needs cleaned really bad. Aside from that perfect.

Ordered hot tea for beverage. Artichoke dip for app. Fish n chips for mainArtichoke dip was stringy. All I could taste was cheese hardly any Artichoke. It should be called cheese dip. The ff were crisp and tasty. The fish was fried hard and had a odd taste to the flesh (the fryer oil may need to be changed). Overall I was highly disappointed. The view was excellent.

Food was ok, service was good. A little bit expensive. Went back for valentine's day in 2024. We ordered the "prime rib" mine was not edible. My wife's was marginally better. The manager offered to comp her meal some and later the server would not. It was valentine's day at 6:30 pm and it was not busy. It seems like this place is going downhill. We were disappointed.

The food is good and the location is great. This is a nice place to meet friends for a meal You don't get an abundance of food where you need a takeaway container, but that is fine with me. It is a little noisy though.

Ordered the 8 oz steak with the French onion soup and it was really good! The garlic homemade mashed potatoes were good but not as hot as I would have liked them. And I've never been a fan of the string green beans because no restaurant cooks them enough and they taste like rubber. Service was awesome, mixed drink was phenomenal! Had not been here in a really long time so it was a nice change of pace. Kind of pricey for Decatur. I really wanted the sea bass but refused to pay $44 LOL

Been here before but I wanted to get my small 6 person group from our business team Christmas dinner. While others downtown booked their entire place with parties leaving the place virtually unavailable to any regulars. The Beach house could accommodate us on a short notice. Always been good food but they'll do there best to take care of you too. It's good business to not fully book yourself you can't handle the smaller everyday customer.

We went to the beach house on 11/9/23 and it was the worst experience. Our waitress seem like she was in a rush, she seemed as if we were in her way and it was super slow and it was mainly an empty room so it wasn’t busy for us to be treated like that. I was my birthday and she stated they didn’t offer a birthday dessert any long but when the manager came over we mentioned my birthday and she offered the dessert right way. We understood the menu came with the sides already chosen and we asked could we substitute and she made a smart remark “it’ll cost you more” which was rude. Not all black ppl are broke. When we inquired are the side substitutions she stated majority of them weren’t available. While we ate she came to the table sooo many times and she seemed bothered. We paid and left. Would never eat here again & don’t recommend eating here.
