Stopped in for date night with hubby. Air was chilly upon entering but it was cold outside so thought nothing of it. Sat down and ordered thinking it's cold in there. Ordered sushi and regular meal. Asked for sushi to come out first. Everything came to table at same time. By time food arrived I needed to put my coat on it was so cold. Mentioned it to wait staff and they said furnace needed a part they were waiting on. She said the back staff area was twice as cold as dining room. Ended up taking food home because I was so miserably cold. $100 meal.. cold in 5 minutes.. to ho... smh...

Sad because I really love Toki but got out tonight with my baby for a Togo order of just rice, a salad, and yum yum sauce. Got home and the rice was freezing and there was no dressing for my salad. I had assumed one of the yum yum sauces was the dressing and it wasn’t so I called about it and at first they told me they were just going to refund me then a manager got on the phone and told me that I didn’t pay for the salad and it was free with the meal so I tried to explain that I didn’t get a meal. They just kept telling me I never paid for a salad because it’s free with the meal and to just get back out and come get the dressing which I’m not because I’m not getting my baby back out.

Today I ordered the Combo Chicken and Steak. My usual. Our server was Nia and she did fantastic job! She was very polite, handling her tables in a professional and efficient manner! We enjoyed our family night tonight. Our food was amazing!

My son did not realize that tip was automatically added, and he put a tip on his card. When he realized the issue, while still at the table. He asked the manager to fix it. He out right smiled at use and said I am not fixing it. We walked out the door and realized the birthday girl left her card on the table. Walked back in to get it just in time as the manager said "another tip for the waitress" We did recover the card and cash for the birthday girl. Unreal how unprofessional this manager was. So the waitress ended up with about a $65 tip. Yes she deserved a tip bout not that much.

Use to love this place, but when your misinformed over the phone twice the manager turns into Mr. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Very bad experience and very rude. Not professional @ all. Think the place is going down cuz for a Sat. They were not that busy. His loss cuz none my family going there ever again!!
