50 Best Pizza Restaurants near Deer Park

“So I went to Alinea last weekend. Apparently it’s one of the best restaurants in the world. Then I went to CPK this weekend. All I can say is, this award was given to the wrong restaurant. CPK all the way! The best Mac and cheese in the world!!! Also, their pumpkin cheesecake and key lime pie are incredible. I still wish they had their roasted vegetable salad, but I guess I’ll survive. BEST restaurant hands down!“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! You should really go check out The Polish American Bistro, whether or not you are Polish! They have food for everyone. Dziękuję Ania and Darek!“

“I tracked my order and it stayed on "we are baking your order". It never alerted me it was done, so I went in at the end of the estimated pick up time and it was ready. But it was now, not fresh and hot like I like it. I order from time to time and this was the first time I was not happy with my pizza.“

“I've ordered Lou Malnati's through the mail long distance for a couple years for my birthday without ever having been to an actual location. So my expectations were pretty high when we found out we had a trip to Chicago. We booked these reservations immediately. Honestly, the pizza was better when I could cook it in my own oven and make it a little more crispy with bubbly golden cheese and crust. It tasted a little bland like it needed salt and could've been cooked longer. Otherwise we had a great experience. I will try a different place next time we are in Chicago.“

“Absolutely love this restaurant. We had brought a tray of lasagna to a party years ago and had nothing but rave reviews. We moved down to FL 7 years ago so it’s been awhile since we have been able to eat here. We bought another tray of lasagna this weekend for a party. Let me tell you…it was so delicious! We are still hearing people rave about it and hope it brings new customers your way. Your GF ravioli was awesome as well. Great food, wonderful customer service, cute restaurant. This is the very best Jet’s location I have ever tried, and I’ve had many. Ingredients are the same at all locations, but the way they prepare it is done to perfection! Perfect crust crunchiness, cheese and sauce portion and freshness are excellent. Fabulous pizza!

“Our group of 8 planned a mtg at Lou's at 6pm. The general dining room was very, very noisy! Upon inquiring if there was a quieter space; the Manager, Dion, went Above & Beyond to move us to a private area. Fortunately it was available. Yet, it was all because of Dion that this happened! He even helped carry our waters, drinks, etc. He made certain we were happily situated in this new space. His attitude (on a very busy night at Lou's) was fantastic!!!! Kudos to Dion!! I hope Lou's in Buffalo Grove knows what a huge impact this had on our visit last night - all because of Dion! Thank you Dion!“

“This is solely a takeout place. Their Detroit Style BBQ chicken pizza is great, everything else is okay. Wings are good, not great. You can order through text and get some discount.

The last time I ordered from there, I saw that they charge 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Solely for that reason, I am not going there again. I don't like to be nickel and dimed by restaurants like this.“

“We sort of fell upon Joanie's when we went to the Strawberry Festival in Long Grove and it was the star attraction for all of us!!! My husband and I had the most delicious salad that we completely devoured in record time along with that mouthwatering cheesy pizza that we ordered along with it!!! My Mom and Aunt ordered the chicken and Mom commented...."Now that's the way chicken is supposed to be made!!!" Oh... and....Our meals were served Hot....not cold....HOT...out of the oven.....again, the way a meal should be served! HOT!!! ha ha ha...The ambience was fun and the view of the water from our vantage point was just breathtaking!!! Our server Derrick was such a nice young man! He was professional, made certain that we were ok, and went back and forth many times for those extra things that we needed for our meal!!! I'm certain that it was very hectic for all of the servers during the fest, but they handled the crowds so well!!! Again, we were just thrilled to have stumbled on Joanie's!!! It's worth going back for seconds, thirds, fourths....etc....ha ha ha“

“NPT is the best pizza in the suburbs of Chicago! It is Neopolitan style pizza and they have pasta dishes as well. Their appetizers are excellent, their Tiramisu is top notch, and they have a good selection of wines and Italian sodas. Get over to NPT for authentic Neopolitan pizzas!“

“We were so happy to find that Little Joey's was still here after we moved away from the area for 14yrs! We started getting pizza from Little Joey's when they first opened - our son Joey was 5 or 6 at the time, so it was perfect! Now, their pizza quality has remained very good! We love their Chicago style deep dish, simple pepperoni or sausage, or even getting a spinach and garlic pizza is nice. Most of the time we get a Greek salad to go along with the pizza. Our favorite local pizza place! (We just miss the delivery van with the phone on top when they first opened ☹️)....“

“My husband and I are in town for one night and had to have some Giordano’s pizza! I have a gluten sensitivity so I was very happy to have the option of ordering gf crust, which was really good! Nothing beats normal dough, but their gf crust measures up well! We also wanted to take our leftover pizza with us and they were willing to put it in containers and wrap in plastic for us so we could take it home in a cooler. They were so nice to do this for us. Very friendly place and great service, as well as food!
