Sat next to this lady complaining about her life the entire night to her poor husband. Felt bad for the guy. She kept grabbing wait staff and bus boys by the shirt as they were walking away. Really killed my vibe.

Food was good though

It's a nice, cozy place to dine. It's the best Italian restaurant. Friendly staff, and it's family-owned. A must-try is a caprese salad. Great service. ✨✅

Once again, The Italian Kitchen came through. They catered my party for 50. The food was great, Emerald nailed the qualities and guided me on best practices. Always a great experience dealing with Johnny, Emerald, Tatiana and the crew here. Whether you want a nice home cooked meal or have a party ( or football game!!!) to cater give them a call.

We just went to our family favorite restaurant, Italian Kitchen in Deerfield. It is always fabulous! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and so delicious! Two of our favorites are the beef ravioli and chicken parmesan. Everything is always amazing. The owners and staff are incredibly courteous and the service is outstanding. We can’t recommend this place enough. I will add that we find the prices very reasonable for such high quality cuisine.

The restaurant itself is comfortable, and the hostess was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing.

The food portions were extremely small for the price, especially for an Italian restaurant. A “cup” of soup was literally the size of a small teacup, and the X-Large pizza was closer to a medium. The pizza itself was mediocre, with dry dough. The Pescatore dish was delicious, but for $50 it was very small and had barely any linguine.

Aside from the hostess, the staff were not friendly. Our waiter placed the pizza tilted on the table, causing it to fall to the floor, and he didn’t even apologize. He lacked basic customer service skills and I never felt comfortable or welcomed.

We spent about $200 and left disappointed. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Getting seated and getting the food took over one hour and the waitress did not ask if we wanted refills or more food.

We used Italian Kitchen For Catering last night. The food was amazing and the service was incredible. I would highly recommend them and John the Owner made everything incredibly easy and worry free.

We've been there a few times and will go back. The atmosphere is nice. Most of the staff is very friendly. It's usually very busy, so be prepared to wait. The portion is a good size.

What makes a restaurant great besides the main choice,food?
It’s staff which at Italian Kitchen is not good but great !
I have been coming here for years but tonight’s visit really pushed me to write this tonight.
Myself & significant other along with my 98 year old mom & 15 month old granddaughter came here & the staff was so kind & helpful,everyone across the board!!
When you dine out with two of advanced ages , you really just shovel food in & get out.
Our lemon chicken was delicious & mom’s eggplant parm & the baby’s meatball was gobbled up!
What makes this restaurant great…..it’s people
