Charley's Video Gaming & Rum Bucket Bar

Absolutely a worthless place!!!! the whole point of places like this is to give money back to the community not take money from the people the past couple of time i have been it's been empty should have taken it as a sign. when the owner doest even show their faces goes to show what kind of a carpet bagger they are

I have never left reviews for establishments, but maybe it’s time. I have been coming to this place for a while now. I really just like the environment. It’s laid back. You can shoot pool, play darts, and watch sports, listen to your own music on their jukebox or ask them to play music for you. Their bartenders are great no hovering when you decide to play a video game which I love. But they always made sure I was ok with my drink whether it was water or a rum bucket. Which absolutely love their rum buckets they are so good. Marissa use to work here I absolutely loved her she was great not sure where she’s at now should have did this review sooner. But I appreciated everything you did. Terry and Charles are great. And Derrick hopefully spelling his name right, but the owner comes in every now and then to make sure everything is running properly goes out of his way no matter how busy he is to say hi and make sure you are taken care of. Overall great place.

Pretty darn good game room I came there to play pool with my team. However, we ran close to the closing time and an altercation broke up between the team captain and Bartender. Apparently we couldn’t stay for a few minutes longer. Seems like they couldn’t accommodate us to finish our match now I understand the team has to apologize.

First experience with this establishment was delivering their order of groceries from Uber … I was quite surprised how clean and kept up the place looks… besides gaming there is a pool table and a dart board that’s separate from the gaming area… complete full bar… and they specialize in a variety of Rum Buckets… I thought this place had a vibe that most bars lack these days… I took the initiative and asked if they were hiring… luck was on my side and I was offered a job… management takes pride in making sure the atmosphere is comfortable for all patrons as well as his employees here, Charley’s and Shelly’s of Sycamore ..thankful everyday of being part of this family

Ok kinda was excited to try this location cause of the rum buckets. Well we got two rum buckets which tasted pretty good until we saw a fly in our drink and on top of the bug the rum buckets gave us horrific heartburn. I don't recommend the place.

It's a nice place. The rum buckets are awesome. They also have machines that do pretty well. You can even play music on the little jukebox. And the people who are there working are always extremely friendly and very kind. I really enjoy going there to hang out and watch some sports.

Hello no this place is a joke!! I had a rum bucket and the guy that was working tonight took mine and didn't ASK if I was done!! Just so he could leave. That was bogus... If there was a half a star I would give it to them. Hope they fire him or teach him good. "costumer service".
