I ordered through uber eats and it was disgusting. Poor presentation, the rolls were smashed under the other food. It was very fishy and the nori was tough. Do not order from here, I should try and get my money back from uber eats, I still have most of the food left and no one will touch it.

Do your self a favor and DO NOT order food from this establishment. This is the WORST restaurant I have ever gone to. The edamame was over cooked and so over salted it wasn’t edible. The chicken tasted old and like rubber, the maki was soggy and nasty. Needles to say we threw the food away as well as my money. We called the restaurant and wanted to bring the food back for a refund which was declined. Not only was the food nasty, they customer service was terrible as well. Wish we checked the reviews before wasting our money. There is no way that they will stay in business, you are better off eating at McDonald’s

DO NOT GO HERE. If you like expensive sushi that tastes like dish soap, rude waitresses, and to be forced to pay and 18% tip, this restaurant if perfect for you. Not only that, but you can also get bad service by a waitress that doesn't check on you during the meal. Near the end of the meal, I asked if I could send one of the sushis back one because it was nasty, and she refused. Since when does a restaurant not allow you to send back food you don't want or going to eat? Then, as I was going to leave when I noticed that they added their own 18% tip which I told them was unacceptable. The waitress removed it from the check but she tried holding onto my card until I gave her $10 or wrote her a tip on the receipt. She was in my personal space and followed me to the door. She tried to tell me that I shouldn't eat there if I can't afford it but I just can't afford her discusting attitude. This was after I already payed. But really don't go here, the crab Rangoon is sour and I've never had a bad Philadelphia roll till now. I have nightmares about this place. DON'T GO HERE.

Save your time, and don’t go here. Horrible service!! The last two times I’ve been here, the lady is so rude. I always ask to substitute avocado, and she’s the ONLY waiter with a problem. Everyone else will do it. I also asked for no soy sauce on mine, and it came with soy sauce, and she said, “You didn’t mention you didn’t want it on top.”… how clear could I have been? It's unfortunate because the veggie Godzilla roll is tasty, but I won’t be coming back! Don't recommend!

Ordered sushi, aVolcano roll, which is a specialty roll. So today, I get it and I’ve ordered this same roll 20 times. And this is what I received. The cucumber was not existent. And anyone who eats sushi knows a roll that’s filled with all rice isn’t good sushi. So when I called they insisted it’s the same thing. When I I’m telling them it isn’t. I’m not paying 16$ a roll to get a roll that’s made like their 7$ rolls. Never have I ever had 2 rolls and then still be hungry. You tell me what you guys think. Roll has spicy shrimp and cucumber inside. Tell me if you see that cucumber. And on top is suppose to be crab, yellow tail, salmon and spicy mayo. No spicy mayo and no cucumber. I’d avoid if you like sushi.

Bottom line: This restaurant is not ideal for picky kids and those who seek a quality dining experience without feeling ripped off due to the 18% mandatory tip and "additional" tips.-----------I visited this restaurant yesterday for dinner with my family. The owner lady said that there would be an additional 18% service charge even though we were 4 (previously they did this for a company of 5 or more guests. Now they seem to be applying the rule to any number of diners). We were super hungry and didn't want to hop over to another sushi restaurant. So, we stayed there for the all-you-can-eat option. The menu was a bit disappointing because they removed the free sashimi option that is available when ordering rolls, and some appetizer options (calamar rings, shrimp tempura, etc. - these are what my kids like to eat, but I guess they got rid of them to save money. Given that they charge $15 for each kid between 3 and 9 for all-you-can-eat, I don't think this is great at all.). Sushi rolls were okay although rolls had a bit thick layer of rice. However, there was only one server, the owner lady and she was somehow busy looking into some kinds of documets while we were dining. The first batch order was pretty quick, but for the second and third orders, she almost forgot us. For the second, I had to walk to the sushi man to order more rolls and for the third, she didn't even notice that I placed a ordering sheet on the table and in a while she took it. At the time when I received the bill I got super aggravated by the fact that I was charged 18% for the terrible service and that the bill was asking me to put "additional tips". This bottom line is that this restaurant is not ideal for picky kids and those who seek a quality dining experience. I will never go to this restaurant from now on. Hopefully those who read this review won't make a mistake of using this restaurant. They are a ton of other sushi all-you-can-eat restaurants than this awful one.Kid-friendliness: Terrible for picky eaters

Ordered takeout on a day that they were having a 50% off sale on select items for ordering online. Turned out to be a great deal for a last minute lunch! Love the crunch they throw into the spicy tuna roll. Also enjoyed their udon soup, first place in a while that I've ordered udon from who got the broth taste just right. Not the most fancy, but not low quality either! Just the right quality for a quick sushi order :)

I used to really enjoy coming to this place to dine in, but mostly takeout. The short lady up front used to be nice but now has a really bad attitude. I came to the all you can eat today and when I ordered a lot of sushi she says, “are you sure you’re going to eat all that?” Excuse me but I find that very rude. I took some leftovers home because I didn’t finish some. I noticed on my receipt unfortunately after I paid that they literally forced a tip onto my check for 11 dollars. I couldn’t really do much about it due to the fact that I had already paid. The lady in exact words said to me, “it is required give 18% tip here.” I’m never coming here again. I give tips at restaurants, but there shouldn’t be a required amount. I refused to look at her when she was talking because of her nasty attitude. Not surprised anymore why this restaurant is dead.

unfriendly staff. very small sushi size. Ginger is saved as if it were made of gold. Wasabi is not spicy at all. I don’t understand at all why this cafe operates. And very expensive. (((((((((

Customer service was terrible. As soon as I walked in, was met with Danny who was super antagonist. He asked if I was there for pick up or ordering, i said BOTH.... And he seemed to be bothered by that, and continued to bully further and doubled down on his stance of being unhelpful. Super passive aggressive. I ordered takeout, and asked for an additional shrimp skewers before leaving which was apparently such a bother to give them more business. Don't know what the issue was, have been here plenty of times after my kiddos karate right around the way but will NOT be returning if Danny is working there.

I decided to read some reviews of this place because I've had it several times and I'm going to order tomorrow ...First off, I would not trust the one star reviews. They smelly fishy to me. This place does not. Everything is always extremely fresh and plentiful...We have ordered twice from here and once sat down at the Arlington Hts location. You are not going to beat this price to quality ratio. Don't expect a NOBU experience when you see a 50% off sign. There's different levels of sushi. They serve a high quality product and it's not over padded with rice. The fish is always firm with texture, never old and slimy. I don't get anything fried, just raw fish, and its GOOD! I think they are on the same level as dotombori, with a much better price point. You can not beat the deal and quality this place has going on for take out sushi! When I do the buffet, they definitely lose money on me. Will update with some pics tomorrow from my order!Went for dine in last night! I have never been inside, but it was a very clean and a friendly environment. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the service and the sushi. It's BYOB which you can't go wrong. We all ordered the all you can eat sushi service and definitely got our moneys worth. We brought in a large cake, and they were very accommodating for our birthday celebration. Def will be back!
