Had an amazing meal at Ari Sushi. I got the Chef's Supreme and loved it. The fish was very fresh and prepared perfectly. If you like sushi, do yourself a favor and go to Ari.

Very good sushi. I lived in Okinawa so I’m a sushi snob. Family owned. Smaller venue. Very good sushi and nigiri. Servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. I let them pick for us. We weren’t disappointed.

Love this place! The food was delicious with amazing presentation. It's very clear the chefs put careful detail into every menu item and is one of the best veggie maki rolls I've ever had from a restaurant. The service was great and staff made my experience enjoyable along with the amazing food prepared, I highly recommend trying this restaurant!

This was honestly a top 2 sushi experience in my life! The rolls were all creative and delicious, and made my wife and daughter more than happy. The chef’s specials raw items and traditional nigiri were all incredible. The smoked white tuna special appetizer was truly a perfect dish. Oh, and the ginger salad was the best any of us have ever eaten. Reasonably priced for the quality, good service, and friendly staff. Five stars almost doesn’t do it justice.

I am a big fan of this place!
Today we ordered takeout, and it was just as good as what we usually get when dining in - beautifully and neatly packed, with the same great taste and quality. The sushi was identical in flavor and presentation.

Wow, this place is amazing! Everything was delicious, from the spicy tuna crispy rice to the jalapeño bombs. And that was just the starters. All the rolls were great. We literally tried five different ones. And the staff is so helpful, with asking what you like and they will help you customize. Such a fun neighborhood place to visit.

ARI Sushi in Des Plaines absolutely delivers! I stopped in craving something fresh, and did they deliver in style. The hamachi and yellowtail maki were melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the spicy tataki had just the right kick without overpowering the flavor.

The Green Turtle maki—unique, flavorful, and gorgeously plated.

Big shoutout to “Lydia”, who was charming, hilarious, and took care of me like I was her own little baby. She tied it all up with a bow by serving me the perfect sweet ending: a green tea mochi that hit the spot.

If you’re in the area and love sushi (or just want to be pampered with good vibes and great food), this is your spot.

I use to frequent this place quite often a couple of years ago. I hadn't eaten there in over a year, and they remembered me when I stopped in yesterday. The waiter even remembered where I'm from. The sushi is always fresh. The fatty tuna and salmon belly were chef's kiss! It seems like they are always getting a lot of to go orders.

Ari Sushi is hands-down one of my favorite spots. The vibe is on point—relaxed, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re dining solo or with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with recommendations or walk you through the menu.

The real standout, though, is the food. I make it a point to try something different every time I visit, and Ari Sushi never disappoints. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they care about quality in every detail.

There’s never been a time I didn’t absolutely love Ari Sushi. Coworkers and I would often go on my lunch breaks and the service was a solid 5 out of 5 every time. The crew here always remembered what we wanted to drink and often memorized the different food orders we would get as well. They are always so welcoming here. You're immediately greeted by the servers & the chefs. They also never forget to say thank you & goodbye with a smile. The food comes out quickly. It is fresh, delicious, and makes a bad day at work much better. The lunch special is also very affordable for someone on a budget who wants sushi. It’s 3 maki rolls, a miso soup and a ginger salad. It is plenty of food, and is always superb. I’m moving across the country for work and will miss this place so much! If you haven’t tried it, now’s your sign to.
