Yesterday we ordered online through Eat Street from Bangkok Belly in Des Plaines. After 20 minutes we went to pick up out order only to find a sign on the door saying the restaurant was temporarily closed from March 26th- April 15th. The business failed to shut off their online ordering services. Eat Street already took my money and after contacting them, I will have to wait 2-5 business days for them to return it to my account. We had to come up with a new plan for dinner. This was super inconvenient and infuriating. We usually order for pick up since the restaurant is super tiny and the service is slow. After this fiasco, I doubt we will be ordering again.

Great Thai flavors well balanced and exceeds my expectations. . I had the Thai beef salad and Lad Nar, take out. Both dishes were well made. The flavors on the beef salad is spot on. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a Thai dish that kept its Thai essence. Unfortunately for me I'm not a fan of restaurants sacraficing their authenticity and heritage to pander. It happens often and it is truly good business. But the places that can make a business out of real good food, no fusion, this is the restaurant for me, with the dishes I grew up on, in my home kitchen.
I will be a regular take out customer. Affordable simple and masterful.

My first time going ordering from this place. I am very disappointed. Food wasn’t that tasty and the lady was on the phone just chatting out loud, never ask me if I needed anything. As I was ignored I took time to look around… yikes!!! Walls, pictures frames and light fixtures had so much dust on it. This place needs a good cleaning. Eating area had some of there kitchen supplies stack up as storage.
Never will I order from place👎🏽. It’s sad, we need a good Thai restaurant in the area. Des Plaines

Best Thai food in the area hands down. Great service. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large. It’s a small family owned business. Highly recommend! Especially the pad thai, pad see ew, pot stickers and crab rangoons.

Red and green curries are second to none. Nick did not short me on the spice as he made them "authentic to Thailand" and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious

Ordered the crab rangoods. Unfortunately they do not contain any crab. Just a lump of creame cheese In a fried shell, no other ingredients. Very disappointing.

We carried out two orders of Basil Leaves with tofu. The dish was excellent, so packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. One of the best dishes I’ve had at a Thai restaurant. This was our first visit to this location and we will be back

Wow! Fantastic husband and wife duo making everything from scratch. So, if you’re wondering why the curries here taste so good, it’s because they make the base themselves - it’s not a canned/premade shortcut.Really really good; also they’re super friendly - don’t let the unassuming building fool you, this place packs the flavor.

I know this will spark debate, but I wanted to try pineapple with my fried rice, so that's what I did. The flavor of the dish is spot on; it has savory notes from the curry powder, sweetness from the pineapple, and nice, but there is a few aspect of it that I don't enjoy. The pork and chicken were dry and difficult to eat. I just hope I don't get sick because of the one piece of pork that had a sour aftertaste. The pineapple was undoubtedly canned because some of the slices had a strange flavor and some were sweet.Their dessert, which came in two portions of banana sticky rice, is the one thing I enjoy eating. It's a simple but tasty dish made of sticky rice with a fresh banana filling and wrapped in a banana leaves. The sticky rice was fragile and gooey at the same time. The banana filling was tender; it also had an undertone of sweetness. The texture of the bean is somewhat solid.

We ordered the curry fried rice, pad see ew noodles, and seafood tom yum soup. The food was packed full of flavors and the portion was big. The pad see ew and fried rice has a nice charred flavor. The tom yum soup was perfect for the weather, hot and spicy. We will be coming back soon!

Simple decor, lovely owners, great food. We were customers when the last couple that owned this place were in charge. We’re worried when it changed hands but the current owners are great, food is still great. Very reasonable prices. A terrific mom and pop stop for all your favorite Thai dishes. If you haven’t been, check them out. You won’t be disappointed!
