The hostess or server taking to go orders was rude. The dining room was busy, maybe some of the food is an acquired taste. The roast beef was okay but really salty.

We had a wonderful experience at Nomads! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Mongolian flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. We loved the khuushuur and lamb dishes, and the milk tea brought back so many memories. Highly recommend Nomads if you want a taste of Mongolia in Chicago!

Food is decent. Definitely unique for the area being one of the few authentic Mongolian restaurants around and the place is well decorated and clean enough. Actually has the potential for a great experience but the service is lacking. Waitress was a bit rude and not very attentive at all. Came in by myself and was polite didn’t ask a lot just ordered like normal and not once did she offer to explain a bit about the menu or check up when I ate and I was the only one in the building. And having been done with my food for quite a while the whole family was in the kitchen chatting away and prepping food which of course is totally fine but I had to walk up to pay up and the staff didn’t apologize for the wait but after like they couldn’t wait for me to leave. Kinda vibe I got was perhaps one of those places that unless you’re part of the community maybe kind of unwelcome.

Nice ma and past atmosphere. Food was outstanding. I had a beef soup and my better half had bim bop.
Service was lacking though. Server was not too friendly. No smiles. No checking on us to make sure we were good. Would come back for the food but staff should get some people training.

I have been many places, but this got to be the best Mongolian and Korean oriental authentic place I have ever been. I recommend everyone who is looking for oriental asian food and big portions of delicious flavored meat.
It's also a nice place to organize small parties and events. They are offering finger food catering services for birthday parties and small events and community gatherings. Feel free to talk to the staff.
We plan organize some holiday dinner parties in December.

If you are looking for authentic Mongolian food, Nomads is the one. Casual spot for dine in or take out. They also serve Korean dishes too. I’ve been there many times and food taste is consistent and delicious as always. Highly recommend;)
