We called and placed an order for takeout. Shortly after that, our planned activity got pushed back, so when we showed up to pick up our order we politely asked if we could eat it in the restaurant. We offered to tip and buy other food and drinks, but were told adamantly that we would NOT be allowed to eat the take-out food there no matter what. This despite the restaurant being essentially empty (maybe 3 of roughly 20 tables were taken, with no one waiting). So frustrating and d**** d**** d**** Perhaps because of this terrible customer service, the chicken tasted just so-so, especially the "original" flavor. With so many other choices, we won't be going back.

This Korean fried chicken movement is concerning to me, mainly from a dietary perspective, because they're all so damn delicious. I find myself eating this stuff a couple of times per month, but I can't decide which outfit is my favorite. Choong Man is really good quality chicken, cooked and packaged expertly (staying hot and moist for a long time). They don't have a sauce/marinade option that I like as much as one of their nearby competitors. However, purely on chicken alone they get top marks. The best option is garlic soy. Garlic spicy IS hot, at least for this gringo. Some local places have sauces with "spicy" in the name but no heat in the game. Great onion rings and calamari as well but usually I'm getting just chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Plus pickled radish cubes.

Consistently the best chicken around. I prefer the garlic soy tiku tenders. But, truthfully, I have never had a bad dish here. The apps and sides are usually big enough to share among 3 people.

Choong Man Chicken is one of the best Korean Fried Chicken experiences you'll ever have! The flavor profiles are amazing, you really can't go wrong with any of them! My favorites are Soy Garlic Green Onion, and Snow Onion! On top of it, the owner and staff are all so welcoming and attentive! Definitely come check them out!

Best Korean chicken. We love the snow chicken with its mound of savory silky onions, the soy garlic chicken for its simple garlic soy ooomph, and we even love the curry chicken for its twist on a favorite childhood taste. Everything on the menu is terrific.

Our favorite was the classic deep fried whole chicken. It stayed crispy and fresh for our takeout dinner and even 2 days later for the leftover dinner. We had the cheese monster which is cheesy and sweet. Can't wait to go back when it's warm as they have so many picnic tables outdoor with tent cover. Really appreciate that they don't use styrofoam and other single use plastic containers.

Love choongman. Whenever I crave Korean fried chicken this is the place I go to. I order the garlic soy tikka while Whole chicken and I usually try another kind of chicken to balance out. This time I tried the red snow chicken wings and it was a tasty with a good balance of sweet and spicy. I also always pair it with a side of fries. Whatever kind I'm feeling m. They're all good!

I am surprised it didn't come with Choongman signature takeout box, but a white one. Perhaps it's stuck in container on the ocean somewhere. Here's what we ordered: New item: Mep Snow Chicken with Garlic Spicy Wings $16.99: wanted to try something new. The menu description: amazing collaboration of sweet & spicy meets mayo sauce. This sounds very intriguing but once I brought it home, I didn't realize it was garlic spicy wings with snow onion sauce. I think this will probably taste much better in house. Tikku Soy Sauce Gizzard $12: honestly my favorite. It's my go to order at CM. It's chewy, crispy, and flavorful. I love everything about this. Garlic Soy Chicken Wings $15: very similar sauce as the gizzard sauce, except in a wing version. It's sweet, savory, and flavorful. It's my flavor of choice.
