Wish the Mardi Gras specials besides Jumbalaya were available all year long.

It's just a little place, with very limited seating, counter service only, mostly carry out, but it's some of the best seafood!

For seafood in the area this place has it. I had a lobster roll and it was great. Very friendly service at the counter and reasonably priced. I ended up taking my food to go because there are not enough tables here. There are crowds of people here which is a sign that it is a great place. The seafood is fresh. Would get food from here again.

Got the shrimp po’ boy. Shrimp were small, but there was plenty of it on the sandwich. There wasn’t too much breading on my shrimp, so I was able go actually taste it. Fresh bread, tasty produce and sauce as well.

Service is unparalleled, very kind and knowledgeable staff.

Kept hearing about this place. Almost crashed I turned in so fast. Feels like an upgraded JJ fish or Sharks.

Not as nice as Boston fish market but not as pricey either.

Have more to try.

I've never eaten there, just pick up fish to take home and cook myself. But it's a hot spot f lunch, and the food looks great.

The food was the best I've had on the seafood side in a while. Thus place tase like its made from scratch. The clam Chowder was tasty and oh soo goooood! 😋 The shrimp gumbo was full of flavor, nice size shrimp spices and herbs mixed real well in every bite. The customer service was very nice and helpful. Bless this business for many year to go.

We were on our way home from a funeral in Niles, Il. On 1/8/26. We were hungry and looking for something good to eat. We hadn’t been to Dons Dock for at least 10 years, we moved out the area, and it’s location is to far away now. My wife checked to see if Dons was still in business, and it was, so we started to head that way.
I went inside, and looked over the menu, and ordered a pound of deep fried shrimp, and 3 tubs of mild sauce.
After placing my order, I was looking at the display case with all the
sea food in it, with their prices on them. Sure, it was a little pricier than 10 years ago, what isn’t? It all looked Sooo good.
I also, like speaking with the people who work there. They are part of the experience, and I was not disappointed. We happened to be there at an off time, and it wasn’t busy.
The wife and I ate these wonderfully large morsels in the car, they were fantastic.
Next time when we are in the area, you are definitely the place we would like to eat.
Thanks, to the staff, for our wonderful meal!

Ive been here several times over the years. The food is always delicious, but please be patient because it takes time to make good seafood! Guest service is always superb and employees always go out of their way to provide great hospitality. The inside is themed very simply and nicely and gives a nice lakeshore/oceanshore vibe.

Food can be a bit pricey (it's seafood) but I always get their deals and get great quality.
