All the negative reviews about the unfriendly service are true. Dark haired tall guy behind the counter is Mr Personality; no customer service skills whatsoever. He is good, however, at being rude and arguing. Go elsewhere.

This is a place where if you are looking for a carryout pizza, it is a great place. This family owned, what I will presume is perhaps a franchise of Giodano's Chicago style pizza is pretty good. However, if you are looking for the ambiance and fun interaction with the wait staff, this is probably not the place for you. Very limited seating. My pizza was not as hot as I was expecting. We brought a cookie "pizza" back to our hotel room but were not told that there was ice cream included, but it was melted by the time we got to the cookie.

Woman says last order by 7:30. But on Google it shows that it stays open until 9:00. Couldn't order when I reached the place around 7:45. Felt like they didn't want to do business. ?

The staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, everything tastes fresh and warm and just melts in your mouth. Will definitely tell my family and friends about this place.

Very small location. They don’t serve half of the menu that’s listed behind the cash register. They don’t know how to run a corporate credit card. If you’re visiting, don’t waste your time on this location, it obviously sucks

Terrible customer service. Rude. On Superbowl Sunday was told no small pizzas were available. How is that even possible? Tried to order and have delivered on a Saturday at 7:00 pm was told pick up only. Don't use this location. Go to Rosemont where the employees don't seem to hate their jobs.
Amazing service ?...very nice and polite...the appetizers and pizza was delicious! They said food will take a while to be cooked but was fast and good timing, we didn't wait a lot between...I am so happy I discovered this place...thank you !

I recently had a concerning experience at the Giordano's Des Plaines location. I called to order 5 large pizzas and provided my American Express for payment. Unfortunately, they don’t accept AmEx, so I agreed to pay upon pickup. The staff confirmed my order, but 30 minutes before pickup, I received multiple calls from the lady owner, informing me that due to staff training issues, my order wasn't processed as I hadn't paid in advance. Her tone was quite rude and very unprofessional.This requirement for advance payment was surprising and inconvenient. It contrasts sharply with my experiences at other places like Lou Malnati's, known for excellent customer service and flexible payment options.I hope Giordano's takes this feedback to heart to improve staff training and customer service, particularly in communication and professionalism. It’s crucial for maintaining good customer relationships.I look forward to seeing positive changes and better experiences in the future.
