I've been eating here since the 1990;s when i lived in Des Plaines at the old location on lee street in the restaurant and delivery and the lunch buffet( which was awesome) . Always loved everything here especially their Italian beefs which were always huge. Since moving a little further I've found them on UberEATS and have been getting Italian beefs the last 2 years (along with pizza etc.) . I will say the Italian beefs are even better than they were years ago....
Tried the new ultra-thin tavern pizza and it was awesome! How they get it so thin?? Edges were nicely charred, crust was crisp throughout, cheese just right, saucy sauce, classic sausage was savory and generously topped. A Chicago take on St. Louis cracker-style pizza, and Giuseppe's did it right.

I didn't hate the place, but Des Plaines has other options that are a little better. Just my opinion.
