Absolutely amazing! The 1/2 Greek Chicken at The Gyros Factory is one of the best meals I’ve had in Des Plaines. Perfectly seasoned, cooked on the bone, and unbelievably tender. The rice pilaf and Greek potatoes complete the plate beautifully. A must-try!

A cordial greeting from all of the friendly staff set the tone for a great experience all around. The restaurant is meticulously cleaned. The menu offers a large variety of excellent food. You can tell that every item is prepared with care. Absolutely delicious! Gyros, burgers, hotdogs, Greek chicken, rice pilaf, Greek potatoes, fries, salads, homemade soup and desserts. Everything is above and beyond expectations.

Food was great and the people were very nice. But the restaurant smells, it's normal for an old place like that. But it does dull the atmosphere. Landlord needs to fix the grease trap, the owner should freshen up the dining room with new paint and art on the walls. That would fix thee atmosphere. And put a smile on everyone's face who eats there.

I realize it’s a small business and I feel like a jerk, but the prices are insane. I got a single euro and a pizza pocket, it cost me over $20. The euro was basic, not bad, but not extraordinary. The pizza puff was underdone, they should be crispy and it wasn’t. The man behind the cash register was not nasty, but not friendly either. I think they’ve been there for quite a while because it had that grungy greasy feel. They need to step it up if they’re gonna charge with their charging, at least clean the place up a bit.

The food was great ! Only thing I didn't like was they give u alot of meat with only 1 pita bread & I ask for chesse which they mash it down on my food so the Chesse was stuck to the foil but overall the chicken gyro was ok

I was in a mood for a Gyro Sandwich today and I have noticed this place had a "large"/"big" Gyro sandwich on their menu, so I have decided to check them out!
I came up to the counter to place my order. They had the Big Gyro sandwich on the menu, which is "larger" than your typical Gyro, so I have ordered that as a meal. I decided to dine in.
I got my cup for a drink and waited for my food. It didn't take too long for my food to be made. I picked it up at the counter. I sat down and started with fries. They were crispy, but your typical pre-frozen type, nothing special. Gyro was next and it had a nice portion, but I would not call it all that big, I would be curious to see what the "regular" size gyro looks like. The meat was pretty good, in terms of juiciness, I would say a bit too juicy to my liking, as it was dripping, I am not a fan of that, but to each its own!
About average, C. I will be back to try something else.
