We stumbled across this place heading to our Airbnb. We had just landed and this was our first stop. Great choice. The food and drinks were amazing. The weather was nice enough to sit outside on the patio. There were 6 of us and we all got something different. Everything was yummy. Needless to say you cannot go wrong with any choice from the menu. Nikki was amazing and super friendly. Told us the history of Illusion and they joy it brings to her and the family. She's very proud. As we were leaving she also gave us a magazine and pamphlets to help guide us on our trip. We will definitely be back if ever in Chicago again. Thank you Nikki for welcoming us in and taking great care of us.

Illusions is the place to go whenever you want to have a snack, a full meal, or a special cocktail; indoors or on their patio! Don’t know if I can choose one special item but every item I have chosen become my favorite! You have to come for Sunday brunch too, the prices are INCREDIBLE (love that candied bacon)! I could go on…..❤️❤️

Stopped in here the other day and I was surprised at how amazing the food was. I had the bbq hamburger with grilled onions and a side salad. Absolutely the best hamburger I have ever had. I highly recommend the grilled onions on the burger!! I’ve never had grilled onions like that before. SPECTACULAR! Staff is awesome and plenty of TVs for football. 1000% will be coming back. Side salad was very well put together. Definitely not your average side salad. 💪💪💪 It’s obvious they take great pride in their menu.

I’m not much of a “leaving a review” type of person but let me tell you about this place..
Their burgers are AMAZING! Literally the best burger I’ve ever had (aside from mine haha). But wow, super flavorful and perfect. Even the bun tasted delicious.
Their chicken wings are really good too. We ordered Buffalo and it was delicious. The chicken had a nice crisp to it and they were not overly sauced. It was literally perfect.
