Very depressing gloomy restaurant. Was not crowded and service was slow. First and last time! BLT was ok. Baked pork chop was so so.

Our poached eggs were over cooked for 3 out of 4 who ordered eggs. Staff (family owned & run) were friendly but they needed help.

Food was pretty good. A fries nice and crispy just like we like a fresh. Take a try, see if you like it. He'll be coming back.

My food was decent, husband’s not so much, waitress whom I found out later was owner is GREEDY and without concern as to why my husband did not touch his meal after first bite. Left more than a twenty percent tip. My mother in law paid partial on card and I paid other half in cash left on table. Owner had a near hissy fit when my mother in law changed it from 8.00 to 6.00 when I told mil I left the other amount on table. I told her (waitress/owner) 3 times that there was cash on the table. She went to table and grabbed it came back up and said but she had 8 here and I said yes but she is changing it because it was over 20 percent already. MIL had 8 on the check but on actual receipt she put 6.00. Such a shame too because JIMMY was always diligent in making sure all his patrons were happy and enjoyed their food, and extremely pleasant and customer oriented fella. He is definitely missed but my husband and I will not be back after sting here for almost 17 years.

I witnessed the younger owner throwing out a customer instead of reasoning with them very unprofessional of the restaurant I will not be back.

I had to come on here to give a follow up to Lisa Levines review posted just before this. I would like to add that while I was dining there last night her and the woman she was with were completely disrespectful and childish. While my husband and I were enjoying our dinner they both approached the counter yelling at staff about how they didn’t like their food..mind you their plates were basically licked clean. So sad so see such poor manners from woman of their age. The staff continuously tried to reason with them..but all they wanted was to scam their way out of paying their tab. Not only that but while the poor host was trying to fulfill an OTP order both women were screaming repeatedly into the phone trying to make the host lose business because they wanted to be cheap.
This establishment has been part of my family tradition for years and we always enjoy the service Tina and her family provide. The food is always wonderful and service is quick!

Also from checking out her reviews it seems as if she has done this scamming behavior at multiple other establishments she has been to. Businesses be weary!

My sister and I frequent this place periodically. We both had dinner last night 4/5/24. I ordered chicken Parmesan w/pasta. My sister had beef stew. I went to eat it, it wasn't enjoyable. The waitress never came back to ask how everything was! I ate partial of the food. I didn't want any more of it! The waitress finally showed up and I asked her if I could get credit for part of the meal and she said she couldn't do that. She said I ate it. I then asked for a manager, and she said he wasn't there. My sister who also had the stew wasn't impressed with her food either! A man who was up at the front came over, he didn't do anything for me either! My sister and I went up to pay the bill, and the waitress took my payment. The man was on the phone taking an order. He wasn't paying attention to us on the situation. We made our comments about how we were treated and the man on the phone said to get out of restaurant and don't let the door hit you on the way out! He kept throwing out verbal comments! I think he's the owner's son that passed away! No customer should ever be treated that way! The restaurant should have been more accommodating on the situation! Free piece of pie?, credit off the bill? But to slander your customers, that's not how to keep in business! I hope they go out of business! Do not patron this restaurant! Bad news! In response to Stephanie Folkl review, she should mind her own business! Very disrespectful on her comments! This had nothing to do with her! I hope you licked your plate clean!
