Guatemalan and Mexican food at its best. It started with the salsa and chips. The salsa was so amazingly tasteful and the chips were a great complement to the salsa. My husband had a chicharron and queso papusa, which could have been a meal by itself. He also had the beefsteak dinner, which was delicious. I had a vegetable tostada and a bean tostada. Both were fabulous. I also ordered the beef enchilada with beans. The beef was just marvelously tasty.

If you have any room left after you've finished your meal or if you're just in the mood, there's an ice cream store next door that is connected to this restaurant.

There are other Guatemalan foods that I want to try. It's a restaurant that we will return to often.

I tried the shuco and chilaquiles and they were both great. The portion sizes are huge and the food is full of flavor. The shuco seemed to have a little bit of everything on it between two pieces of fresh pressed bread. The green sauce on the chilaquiles was a little bit spicy but very good. I’ll be back for sure.

My kids and I go to this restaurant when we want authentic Mexican food. We tried the chicken taco and chicken enchiladas this time, they were good but next time we will have it with flour tortillas and not corn tortillas. The plate portions are good it’s enough. The rice is good and beans are excellent! The atmosphere is home feeling as we are from Arizona, and the customer service is great too. You are greeted, served and they are patient while you order. I do wish the waters would come with ice in the cup but that’s ok

This will be my new go-to for pupusas around here! I called in for a pretty decent sized order for my co-workers and I. Process from the initial order, to the delivery to the consumption of the Pupusas was wonderful. Each individual order was labeled with a number, plastic plate, utensils, curtido and salsas. The pupusas are huge, too! Well worth the $5. Thanks, Los Chapines! We are pleased.
