THE WORST mexican food ever!! Enchiladas were cold & dry, I had to pour salsa over them. The beans were cold had no flavor & served with white rice??? That entire meal was disgusting and lacked seasoning. The server never came back to check on me.

Chimichangas were lukewarm and extremely dry, even though we asked for it extra hot since it was going to hospital. Definitely will not be back, and do NOT recommend.

Food was delicious. The reason I deducted stars was because the portions didn’t match the prices. Why is a cheese (no meat) enchilada plate with barely any rice and beans $18? A large guacamole (albeit, delicious and fresh) is a small at TBK and they charge $10 for it. Good food, but small portions at ridiculous prices, in my opinion. Would love to come here more often when the craving for Mexican food hits, but I can make my own Mexican meal for half the price at home.

I feel like this is a Des Plaines hidden gem. I've tried a half a dozen Mexican restaurants in the area and this is by far the best. I enjoy the chicken enchiladas verdes and my partner is impressed by their mole sauce. We also order the guacamole regularly. I am a repeat customer and both dine in and order take out. I've have never been disappointed so far. Definitely try this place if you have not already!

I was looking for some nice vegan places, this place has a really good Mexican food that can be made vegan. I had a burrito but the owner said so many more things can be made vegan like enchiladas. I want to go back and try more for sure.
