I notice reviews are mixed since it changed from Mr. Pup to Americana. My experience was great. I ordered a 6" Italian sub and it was only six bucks, with fresh ingredients piled high. This was a legit deli sub and the best bargain I've found in the Chicagoland area.Perhaps the owner listened to the complaints and took them to heart. Maybe I just got lucky.There's the usual selection of dogs, burgers, gyros, Italian beef, and more. Prices are great on all of it. They even offered a bowl of chicken noodle soup for $3.50.Staff was friendly, and were even polite to a guy complaining that his order wasn't ready before he got there. He promised to call ahead next time, they promised to have it waiting if he did.It's a dated building but everything was clean and comfortable. At the price for their subs you can't beat it.

This is a hidden gem for breakfast. Awesome, inexpensive breakfast sandwiches to go. Better than McDonalds at the same or similar prices. Our plumbing shop is just down the street, we'll be stopping in more often.

went here on Thur. 7/27/23NOTE: From my understanding, this place used to be called "Mr. Pups", but has since been under new management for the past few months & they've revamped everything (name & menu included).With that said (and in spite of recent reviews), I wanted to try giving them the benefit of the doubt.First thing I noticed: I was the only customer in the parking lot (ok, probably not a good sign). Parking lot looks empty here a lot (I've noticed this after passing by here numerous times from work). Nonetheless, still wanted to try this place.Two guys (cashier and just one cook) were the only employees behind the counter. They talked amongst themselves in a foreign language as they took & were prepping my order. It was odd, as I felt like the 3rd wheel. They were friendly, though.Burger wasn't anything to write home about. Disappointed they don't offer milkshakes on their menu (what good is a burger without a shake?!). Luckily, Burger King's a hop, skip away if you want to grab a shake.Overall, it was just ok.

This is absolutely the worst place ever I brought a Italian beef from there the worst ever thought I’ll give them another chance went in there today and ordered a sub for $21 dollars on thin slice of deli meat keep warming the fries up no wonder why no one never in there and please fire the cook he in there doing what he wants because it’s not his money or customers I promise y’all will be close soon for good !!
